You have differences in memory performance because in 2:33 you have B660M set to CR1 and B760i set to CR2. Comand rate 1 has a huge impact on performance especially on memory latency.
Thank you for this overview! This board is extremely cheap for ITX LGA1700, only around $80 shipped, and has really good I/O for the price. Nobody in the English community knows of this board since its a chinese brand.
Yeah, the Chinese Customs Export/Import regulations forbid shipping any assembly with a "visible" lithium cell. If the motherboard has a button lithium cell, and it is able to be seen when inspecting the motherboard, then the seller/shipper has to remove the battery before it can be exported (or imported) from/to China. This even counts for the ones where the button cell is in a plastic retaining housing that is surface mounted on the motherboard PCB or heat-shrink cover with pig-tail harness like what is on this motherboard in the video. This regulation was introduces several years ago, but within the last couple of years it has been more heavily enforced. They can, however, export/import/ship lithium cells themselves, which is why you can buy the little heat-shrink button cell pig-tails separately and/or button cells in blister-packs. If the motherboard was mounted inside a computer case, then the button cell could be left in place, as you can't "see" it then. This is why a pre-built computer system, laptops, cell-phones, battery packs for laptop or tools, or any other lithium powered electronic device can be export/imported through Chinese customs containing lithium batteries/cells, because the lithium cells themselves are not visible. If the Chinese motherboard manufacturers want to get around this issue, they could make the button cell holder or the location of the button cell pig-tail to be inside of some part of the motherboard, such as inside of the IO riser cover, so that it is not visible.
Hi guys, I bought this motherboard last year and it's on the latest BIOS. I bought an RX 6750XT, but it only works if I set the PCI Express to Gen 3.0, but my RTX 3070Ti works normally at 4.0. my processor is i5 13400 I have two nvme SSDs and NZXT H1 v1 case with riser cable updated 4.0 from NZXT itself
I have got nzxt H1 with 3.0 riser and had to change pci express to 3.0 to make it work. Leaving it in auto wont boot to Windows. Btw the are few bios update since this review and it supposedly support 14th gen with latest BIOS. Anyone tried with 14th gen yet?
great review, got the board a week ago but forgot that i my cooler don't have a 1700 mounting kit, waiting for a new one in the mail and plan to use it with 12700 and add a cpu bracket for a better cooling. thanks for the bios files, should update it later when i can. btw in video you write the board as mini-ATX instead of mini-ITX
Amazing content, u are saviour and love the way u explain the stuff. Subbd. Ur review made my take the risk and buy this. I am going for 13600k with this motherboard. I hope it will be good. Btw do you have any video on these bios/cpu parameter updates explaining what we do and why we do so ?
The best suggestion is not to touch anything in the BIOS except the language and the XMP profile. If you need a specific feature, you know what it does, then you can adjust the BIOS accordingly but wandering in the BIOS trying to get better performance is a lost hope.
@@Miyconst Thank you, I found another chinese board and also saw ur video on that erying b760i d4. What do you think ? Which is the best motherboard for intel 13600k as per you?
@@rainbowrunner1136 I would stay far away from ERYING and would not recomment JginYue, instead I would go with ASRock, MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, or at least Maxsun, Biostar.
good work! such a really good review for an obscure brand. and you even gave very valuable instructions for those who want to try. i kinda want to try the lottery and see if i can win a working unit from this brand since we really lack white itx motherboards from popular brands
@@Miyconst upgrading out of my haswell pc built in 2015. i thought a tiny air-cooled case would be cool this time, specifically mechanic master c24. i was able to get all the other parts in all white except for the motherboard. i do think it's bad to obsess over white pcb since not much of the itx mobo would be visible anyway. still, i'd like to try my luck with jginyue since i found a ddr5 version. if it fails, then there's no choice but to settle with msi b760i edge
Reason i bought the MB Jginyue B760i coz 1. The price for lga1700 itx cheap ispend for the cmos+wifi+antena total with mb around 115$(have goodlooking motherboard white edition) also tax payment, 2. I'm not veteran user like all everything you need it's push thePower or Overclock everything, 3. Also i'm not sure if the chip is B760i(pure) maybe around under B660 but i don't care about that, 4. 2x Slot M.2 support NVME and Pciex16 4.0. Just hope for the motherboard have good lifetime🤣. What your hope for brand-CN cause the price different with Brand Top-Global?😅 Btw, good video for detail inspection~ Do i need update the Bios for normal user activity?, yeah cause the stock ui bios not frienly user too~
May I ask if its bios has pcie power saving settings, aspm, and L1 options? (I bought an affordable motherboard from another brand. Although it has aspm, it only has L0s options, not L1)
Can you give the model of the wifi card used in this video. Unfortunately the CNVI model I bought doesn’t work on this motherboard (intel 9560 AC ) Bluetooth works WiFi doesn’t
hello, i have a i3 10100f, 16gb of ram and a 3060(12gbvram) and ive been considering upgrading my cpu but the price for performance of LGA1200 chips is horribly expensive (compared to 12th gen). i have a budget of around $240 and am considering just buying an x99 motherboard and a xeon cpu. do you think its worth it? or should i go for 12/13 gen? i use my pc for light gaming and music production.
My system is a 12100 DAW and the 12th gen are great for music as the single core speed is high you get less latency also get higher speed lower latency DDR4 as DDR5 latency is painful on cheap DDR5 kits when it come to live music, how ever if you can afford a DDR5 pro low latency kit would be better but you'll need to sell a organ or two. 12100 is about 40% fast than the 10100F. Look at CEX if you in UK sell the old CPU and fund the new CPU aim high and look at the 12400F they are often cheaper than the3 12100 second hand. A second hand CPU is not so risky if brought via a good retailer who offer good trading, and guaranteed on parts. Not Ebay thought.
i made a bootable drive with rufus and placed the UEFI and NSH in it, but i can't get it to boot. It give me an error saying "insert proper bottable drive" help?
I am in China now, so I bought this on PDD for only 590 CNY= 82 USD dollar. The BIOS is well designed, but it maybe uneasy for the english user bcs it doesn't have a language selecting option
I just bought a B760I snow dream but failed to boot up with 12600k cannot even go into the bios... the pc powered on, fan turn on, debug light show no problem keyboard background light and monitor turn on, monitor later said no signal, keyboard no response for num lock, unplug and plug again the keyboard does not turn the background light on Any ideas what going wrong? many thx!!!
Hi there, I have the DDR5 version (JGINYUE B760i D5). I installed DDR5-6400 (XMP), I selected the XMP profile and set memory voltage to 1.4, but it won't post. Any ideas?
Hej! I was thinking a building a cheap proxmox server from parts i mostly have, i have a Xeon E5-2640 v4, and 4 DDR4 8GB ECC 2133 MHz, Nics, and storage from an old server. Do you have any recommendations for a suiting motherboard ? The cheaper the better, but still stable enough for 24/7 operations.
@@Miyconst Thanks a lot for the answer btw you should take a look on the description the link for the motherboard is not to date, there is no B760i for the curious ones (easy to find on google but no affi link for you)
hey if you get bored id love to see dual 2696v3 on huananzhi x99 F8D benchmarks since you've got the hardware. Im looking to build a cheapish high core video encoder so if you could do some benches with Encodegui(free) that would be unreal, cheers
Good morning, I have a question and advice I have a Msi H110M PRO-VD motherboard and I wanted to buy an Intel Xseon Xeon E3-1220 v5 processor for it, will this processor work on this board and will it work with non-server RAM I wanted to have this old computer for simple things on a computer not for playing and I don't want a pentium processor on this board I'm asking you for a hint what can I do with this board?
im looking to buy this motherboard, can you maybe link the battery connector you used to connect a battery to it? and can you maybe explain through what port you updated the BIOS? since none of them have "bios" written on them
I have added link to the battery holder I used into the video description. For the BIOS flash you need to create a bootable USB drive and boot the system, there is no BIOS flashback function as we know it from the other known brands.
Can this bios be used with b660m snow dream? I bought the b660m version I asked the seller to give me bios update and rgb controller software and he doesnt seem to answer. Thank you
love your content, i am trying to find a budget sfx psu from aliexpress and XINHANG SFX 650W Fully Modular Mini ITX psu stood out. i dont know if this one is legit can you make a review
I been waiting for a deep review of this board too, I like that your reviewing thing out side the off hype over price crap the other RU-vid reviews are reviewing tank you. Have you tried accessing their web site via VPN as in UK I still can't access, I wondering in there is some sanctioning Geo-fencing going on, as like there is Ukraine and Russian site are blocked here due to the sad conflict there. The Bios issue is one thing putting me of the board for my 12100 and 3200mhz ram(2133 without XMP set). It is one of the thing putting me of this ITX board as a replacement for my Gigabyte h610i board as I can buy a wifi card for and case will not allow a PCI-E card(it a In-win B1 case I'm using). and it has the socket. the gigabyte board doesn't have that option and any ITX in UK is over £150 or total crap so willing to do a Aliexpress gamble. Using Linux I use the BIOS RGB basic setting so all look OK with the later bios.
First, there is no "sad conflict", there is brutal ruzzian invasion into Ukraine with massive war crimes and international terrorism. Regarding the website, I am not sure how true it is, but my Chinese contacts told me that Jginyue website was DDoSed and after that they took down the file server, so the download links don't work in China either, they distribute BIOS through WeChat. The XMP settings work, you just need to manually set voltages and Gear Ratio.
I need to update the bios of my B760i Snow Dream, but the JGINYUE website is not working. What is the password for the file you uploaded? Sorry for the bad english, I'm from Brazil.
Thank you so much. I have another question, it gets stuck on a blank screen with an underscore on the upper left side after save and exit. After that, pc started to blink on and off. My take is maybe the PSU isn’t enough to make it work, since it’s just 400W. I have an i5 12th gen, 2x8gb 3200mhz ram, etc.
Man can you please help me I don't know what to do anymore, I bought a new case and my PC was working just fine, now it only boots if I have only 1 stick of RAM on, mb is x99 jingsha with TF bios, memories are Asgard Loki and both are working(tried each one on the slot) but when I put they together PC doesn't load.. please help me if you can
@@yotoprules9361 i ended up getting the maxsun 😁. Works fine to me. although because i run my os off of a sata ssd i had to turn on something in bios. otherthan that it does al i need it to do. (the only thing i have dared to touch in the bios is fan speeds). i think by mem i went for this because of price and i can eventually put in two nvme
