Is Bandung the best city to bring up your family in Indonesia?
From our last video, we loved Bandung so much. From the scenery, to the climate and natural aesthetic of the city, the more we explored, the more we thought this would be a great place to raise a family.

I live in bandung during college in 2000', they used to be cold refreshing weather, the weather is so perfect for walking, jogging, and studying. But today, ohh...its so hot, dense, traffic jam everywhere, and ofc less comfortable for walkers or joggers. Only in some area are walkers and joggers friendly and still you must use motorcycle/car to get there.

I've worked and stayed in many cities in Indonesia, almost in every major island (except Papua), and even though Bandung is not as cold, fresh, and laid back, as it used to be, but still; I prefer to live in Bandung compared to any other city in Indonesia

If you like or want to try lodging or glamping in the forest, come to The Lodge Maribaya, there is also TWGC (Terminal Wisata Grafika Cikole) in Lembang, and you will get breakfast. Or stay at Dusun Bambu Lembang The air there is very fresh and quite cold. In Lembang there are many tourist attractions, some of which are: Orchid Forest Cikole, The Great Asia Africa, Floating Market Lembang, Tangkuban Perahu, and many more. For the city of Bandung itself, there are: Gedung Sate, Jalan Braga, Jalan Asia Afrika (Alun-Alun Bandung), try taking a bandros bus, the ticket price is around IDR 20,000 per person (each bus color has a different route). And come at night to eat at Sudirman Street Food or on Jalan Lengkong Kecil. Have a nice day in Indonesia. Thank you for visiting.

Go to pangalengan and enjoy cloudly/misty tea plantation there. You can swim, fishing or boating on the lake (I forgot the name) nearby too

@@DisappearforDays in long weekend or school Holliday's or religion holiday is always pack and traffic jam all bandung area ..the highway normally 2-3hrs drive become 5-7 hour long jam traffic..

OMG the last time I visited that traffic garden when I was 5 years old...and that's 44 years ago. that's quite a nice place for me to play with small cars, mini bicycle, train. But now they have mini bullet train. When I was kid it's still a steam train, 😁

@@DisappearforDays yess they even upgrade the jet plane. now it's F5 tiger... there were a P51 Mustang and a mig 21 back then 😁 don't know if they're still there because I think they are in different spots. btw the park was named after a deceased daughter of an indonesian General. She's Ade Irma Suryani Nasution. She was killed after tried to protect her father the general when a coup d'etat happened in 1965. and she was just 5 years old.

If you guys still In bandung you should visit Angklung saung Udjo, famous angklung west Java traditional music instrument. Bandung famous for Indonesian artist from music, musician, film, actor, actress, art, fashion designers, model, etc. You should check "Gudang selatan" many local Brands Indonesia

Bandung is heavily influenced by the Dutch, there are too many trees everywhere you look, and all their traditional food/snacks must involved cheese in some form 😅

I can't tell whether this is meant to be insulting or not 😂 I'm half Chinese-Malaysian, half English. But have lived in England all my life, hence the Asian look, but English accent. Hopefully Emma is enough of a Caucasian woman 😂
