Great filming. The shots taken were amazing. The only thing I didn't like was that the subtitles were going off too quick so I had to pause every time to read the longer captions and also if the scenes could last for longer time. Like there were some beautiful scenery but lasted only for a second or two. Rest everything was perfect🤗

Where did u take the romantic train and a boat ride that ended in the area where the bamboo forest is? Thereafter, u had food and how did u get back to central Kyoto? Ur subtitles flashed by too quickly and I had to go back many times to try understand. So these questions and hope u can answer them as I’ll hoping to travel to Kyoto and might use yr blog as a guide. Many thanks!

We joined a day tour in Kyoto which we booked through Klook. The tour bus took us to Saga Torokko station where we took the romantic train and got off Kameoka Torokko station. Afterwards we went back onto the tour bus and were driven to boarding area of the boat ride. You can search Hozugawa River Boat Ride on Google map to find the exact location of the boarding area. The boar ride ends at Arashiyama and we had lunch there. The tour bus took us back to central Kyoto afterwards. Hope this helps!

Did you pay for the boat ride separately or it was included in the tour? I just noticed that the boat rides are cancelled due to an accident in March! That is very sad...
