Luang Prabang is absolutely amazing in December and January. The weather is cool. It's not hot at all. My high school math teacher from America retired there in 2018.
I visited Luang Prabang for the first time last October and totally fell in love with it! I hope to pay another visit later this year, fingers crossed. 🤞😊

Luang Prabang has a timeless beauty to it indeed.. And I prefer seeing it this way, during the low season. I feel that it can give you a more serene and intimate connection with the place and the culture! Shame I haven't gotten to that part of Laos yet!

luang pra bang is beutiful town of laos , i hope the chinses have not destroyed this city , & laotian culture , we know that the chinese are everywhere , they disfigured the city with chinese dialects , is not good , udom say ,boten , viengchain , resembles the chinese city, because the tourists in the world come to laos , want to see laos culture , some tings from lao & not chinese
Hopefully, the unesco will continue preserving Luang Prabang as it is. It hasn't changed much a part from having more vans and cars on the street. From 2006-2008, when I first arrived in Luang Prabang, there were more motorbikes and tuk tuk.
