Line 7 operates from the Eglaines Iela/Dole trading area in the Ķengarags suburb, northwesterly through Latgale to the central market and railway station. Passing the Latvian National Opera and through the old town, this route terminates at Ausekļa iela.
Having spent a little time on foot along this route, I board Tatra T6 32189 at Mazā Kalna iela and record the short journey to Elijas iela. This particular tram set makes some superb noises and I only wish I had recorded more of it!
