Yup! Our Jamaican cousins took it to the "new world". Zobo is drunk in different variations all across the West African coast & I'm still partial to Zobo from Nigeria. The hibiscus just has a yummy, wine-like, umami-floral flavor that the flor de Jamaica or Caribbean sorrel transplants just don't.

Yaaaaay - represent!! I'd definitely recommend Red chicken stew (you fry onions and tomatoes, add a bunch of spices, let the chicken cook. You can cook it for longer and let it get tender but Nigerians got strong ass teeth and enjoy tough meat too) with griess or rice. Griess is a great alternative for anyone that doesn't like Fufu.

If so you should really delve more deeply i.e. north and South Indian food destinations east and west since there will be more east and south Asian influence in the east of Indian and even the different states. You could even do like a dosas around India or bhel puri where each state and heck even each person has their different version and recipe. Either way thank you for doing this for all the cultures and I love watching your videos and also learning about differences and similarities in cultures like the hibiscus tea from Nigeria and the hibiscus tea from Mexico either way THANKS I LOVE YOUR VIDS.
