It is such a pleasure to have come across your channel 2 years ago. I was so surprised of just how you both connect with the songs…there are reactions and then there are raw emotions which are sometimes undermined by reactors for the purpose of putting up a show but you guys have always won my heart with your humbleness, openness to cultures and new sounds and simply through your genuine takes on songs. I was a bit surprised that you guys didn’t cover Season 14 back when it was such a hype. You covered a couple of songs only I think.. but my my, I loved watching you both. But I fell off the radar afterwards. I am so glad that you both covered Season 15 as it went along because it was a sheer delight to have your takes and just how happy you both made me feel. Carol, you made me cry again with you today. Even though I am listening to this wonderful song again and again but your eyes made me tear up too. Thank you for wearing your heart on your sleeve - you both do so and I love how Elie gets goosebumps with intense lyricism. He truly appreciates the lyrics. Did you guys hear Xulfi singing in the end when seasons are changing and he goes .. Chahaton ke bhi.. that’s him. Also, this song reminds me of MJ’s earth song… how we are all intertwined and connected in one chain. We are here for a short stay in this world as a guest - as a Mehmaan. And we should not ruin it but respect and love each of its elements - be it nature, animals, people. What a song to end the season. For my own bias, I would always love Phir Milenge from Season 14 and Faisal Kapadia’s haunting and lingering voice as my number one favorite farewell song. But this one is a close 2nd. I simply love Xulfi’s vision and then your reaction is cherry on the top. You guys should also explore Nescafé Basement which was Xulfi’s first official gig as a music producer.
