This wasn't a wedding scene 😅 This was an expression of the culture of Sindh, specifically the region of the Thar desert. The way people live, what they wear etc. The lyrics are about the folk tale of Marwi, who was kidnapped by the local ruler and forced to be his bride. However she loved her village and it's people and refused, and she longed to return to her home and family. Her steadfastness and loyalty to her people impressed the king so much that he sent her back. The peacock in the video represents the victorious Marwi who came back and inspired everyone.

1-Peacock the bird of Thar. 2-Dolphin the animal of Sindh, mostly seen in River Indus. 3-Rille-Quilts are made in Thar. 4-Painting Work on walls with mud, which is commonly scruptled by Thari women at their home. 5-Saari the local community or minority wear it. 6-Embroidery work is also mostly done in Thar; Dupatta,Rile, Rumal, pilow etc. 7- Umar Marvi-Folk tale of Malir and Umarkot sindh, it is claimed that King Umar of Soomra dynasty kidnapped a poor girl from her village for marrige, However she denies him and in the end of atrocities, he let her go. 8-Babar Mangi is among the current Rappers of Sindhi language. 9- The man uses Chang or Morchang which was mostly used by shepherds in sindh when they were in thar desert(Whole thar before partition) or people of Sindh and Rajhistan. 10-In this song, there are three layers, 1 Initial singer, higlights the issue or problem, 2-second singer supports him and asks him he/she can do it, 3-3rd female singer courageously does it With pride, you can imagine by see their females' expressions.

Its not Urdu Language but a regional language of Pakistan called “Sindhi”

Actually it's a song about Bravery of a Woman named Marvi.. We never celebrate women's success in our society via this song they are celebrating the resilience Marvi shown towards the feudal of that time; hence she refused all the offers even offer to be the Queen, she refused and said I'll go back to my people in Bushy Houses.. So they welcome her by saying Aayi Aayi(here she comes). Between the lead vocalist is my younger Brother.. When peacock enter it means marvi return homeland (in 14th century The protagonist of the story is Marvi, a young Khaskheli girl of the Panhwar tribe abducted by the then-ruler of Amarkot, Umar Soomro, who wanted to marry her because of her beauty. Upon her refusal, she was imprisoned in the historic Amarkot Fort for several years. Because of her courage, Marvi is regarded as a symbol of love for one's soil and homeland.

This was about a sindhi folk story named marvi and her struggle in life. she got picked up/forced to marry a king. some accounts mentioned that she got picked up by the king and was forced to marry him against her will. she didn’t surrender and continued to fight against this injustice. she finally made king to let her go and join her people in this village. King accompanies her on her way back to the village. This song is about welcoming Marvi in the village after her victory against the king. This whole celebration is about welcoming a victorious girl named marvi back in their village. The colours, peacock, sindhi clothing, bangles etc personify the sindhi culture to which these villagers in sindh belong to. This is more like a winning celebration of the common people against the tyrant king who had to give in the end due to resistance put up by this brave girl marvi. It revolves around a village girl named Marvi, belonging to the Phanwar tribe, who resists the advances of a powerful king named Umar and the allure of living in the palace as his queen. Instead, she chooses to remain in her simple rural environment, staying true to her village.

This song is actually a representation of an old story of Thar( Located in Sindh Pakistan). There was girl who loved a boy from same village but at the same time the king of the time took her away to marry her. But she refused to marry the king. Then the king returned the girl to her home months after, and the villagers sung this song in joy of her return. Now listen to the lyrics keeping this story in mind. This is a genuine masterpiece.
