Slavija is Belgrade's busiest roundabout and in this video you'll see why. 7 roads meet at Slavija roundabout which means that it is more often than not clogged with traffic. The added factor that this location is one of the few places in the city where trams, trolleybuses and buses - both diesel and electric - converge, adding to this already busy part of the city. In 2017 the musical fountain was opened that is in the middle of the roundabout; a fountain that pedestrians can't really visit and music that you can't really hear over the sound of engines and honking horns. It really is quite mesmerising to watch it all work out, where people manage to navigate it without incident.

Excellent footage Adam, so much going on in just 5 minutes. A tram having a near miss with that Temsa. A random Zastava Yugo popping in too. What make was the trollybus? Karosa? The headlights looked like those on some Obradors bodied buses that used to operate near me in the Paris suburbs. Can't remember what chassis those had.

That was 5 minutes but it was like that most of the time. I didn't do well at capturing the horn honking very well thought. The trolleybuses are BKM - Belkommunmash, Belorussian. I had a ride on one and was catapulted to the back as they're very rapid.

@@SirAdamUK @SirAdamUK Good piece of video though. Rather reminded me of synchronised JCB's. 😂 Like the trolleybus there the newish Yutong E9's & E12's in Leicester are very torque heavy. Having to stand on the former wasn't fun at all. Thrown all over the place.

@@MegaBreadvan i imagine those traversing this roundabout would think it's anything other than synchronised 😂 I have to confess to not having been on a Yutong at all. Electric vehicles, except old trolleybuses, don't float my boat. I suspect you had no choice - were they on P&R work?

@@SirAdamUK The road markings would really confuse me... they can be interesting in France too, especially that priotité à droit rule. I didn't think that electric buses would be for me, either. But they have their own characters. The little E9's on the Hop! service and the stonkingly fast E12's (yes took those on the park & ride). When I was over at the end of September, I had hoped to take some photos of the brand new Street Kites, which I quite like the look of (again surprising that I do!) Unfortunately I could only make the Quorn meet on the Saturday, as I had to rest up on Friday & Sunday, after hurting my achillies tendon on the trip up from Paris - returned hobbling on the Monday morning. Still not quite right. Was hurting this morning on my 2km walk with Dolly.
