I was only meant to go to a transport festival, but, turns out I couldn't... so I randomly fell into a festival and then ended up falling in love with this city once more. Follow me on Telegram: t.me/ungluedbrit Odysee: odysee.com/@un...
Moscow is a very beautiful and vibrant city with amazing scenery all around Moscow. Thank you and your beautiful wife for taking us on a tour through Moscow's music 🎶 festival. The police officers from Omsk, Siberia, and Russia were amazing. 🇷🇺 👏 😊 Cheers 🍻 from Canada 🇨🇦 to you all in Russia 🇷🇺 😊
It's a wonderful place just to walk around! Never know what you'll find around the next corner, great place to explore! I walk Deliciously? Never had such a compliment before but I will take it! 😅
Whoa, nice vid, thanks! :) Very colorful and full of music, made me realize how much I miss Moscow! Will send the link to my friends in EU so they can go green with envy, mwahahahaha :)
I really love the acapello festival in Moscow. But I get tired of a lot of people in the center pretty quickly and I want to go home as soon as possible.
@@UngluedBrit
@UngluedBrit You can see it still standing. There's an entry to the underground Museum of Archeology of Moscow on the corner of the Four Seasons Hotel. Stand before the Zhukov monument with it on your right-hand side and start walking along the back facades of the first and then the second red-brick buildings of the Historic Musem. When you reach the corner of the second, the longer building (farthest from Red Square) you'll see the entry over the passage at the corner of the hotel. It's underground. The Kremlin is a castle and from the 11th to the 18th(?) or 19th (?) century it was protected by a moat and the small river Neglinnaya. That was the bridge the crossed the river Neglinnaya that once mouthed into the bigger Moskva river
6:03 This brings a tear to my eye. I was born in Moscow (now living in a small town) and I forgot how diverse it is. And it's not imposed to you like in the west, it's just naturally attracts talented people. A really neat and beautiful place, and great singers.
@@KotleKettle That’s what I like, in the west they put people on stages because of the colour of their skin, their characteristics, if they’re not straight. In Moscow they put people on stages because they’re simply talented, people are judged on their character, not the way they look based on what it seems to me.
@@UngluedBritwell, there are black actors who are struggling to find roles in the movies, as we don't have many black people here like in the US or UK. Like Nikita from the channel Одиннадцать - a very educated and intellectual guy. But he found himself as an influencer and an educator. And he still plays in theaters I think.
Oh,I think you would also like to visit Aptekarskiy ogorod( pharmacy's garden) on Prospekt Mira( Проспект Мира). In January there is exhibition of orchids. There are also a theatre, gardens, pubs, coffee shops, greenhouses. This place reminds me English public gardens.
I live out in the regions, interestingly, Everyone has the newer models and newer lines and metro expansions, but we live in the North East, it seems like we've been forgotten and we go past looking at everyone coming in on their new fancy trains with envy. 😂
You are living in Mytishchi and there are exist new models, but I guess you are from station Perlovskaya which they are ignoring because nobody living there :D
27:57 It's actually saddens me what they've done to the "Detskiy Mir" (the big mall for kids). It used to have big carousel in the middle, some Russian fairy tale creatures like Baba Yaga and big toys hanging under the ceiling. And it was quite spacious, and toys were placed in the open space. Now the interior looks just like a boring mall with cramped up small shops.
I wasn't aware of that, I would prefer it if it was like that too, not a great fan of gentrification, it appears to be happening in many big cities across the world, it sucks the character out of a place.
More affordable, for young people the property ladder was still attainable, better cost of living, real culture, it used to be an English city, Crime existed but it's much worse now, you used to be able to get a doctors and dentist appointment very quickly, services worked far better, the list goes on and on.
@@End0fst0ry Ah, the translation was poor then, it's my damned fault for not being good enough to understand Russian, one day I will, until that moment then I take my words back and apologise for grabbing the wrong end of the stick.
