🇺🇸🇬🇧Pablo Albornoz uses 2 Messerschmitt BF109 E in this video, where we learn how to do a "dirty" version and a "clean" version of paneling. Also, we round this video off with the following bonus: "How to make drained oil burnt with Model Wash". Enjoy it! 🇪🇸⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

Vallejo/Italeri model wash is the best for use in home as there is no toxic chemicals like paint thinner needed to make streaks or remove excess, simply use water or non toxic acrylic thinner to youre advantadge.

Amazing effects Pablo. Muchas Gracias. Are you an artist by nature? That is, have you attended Art classes or are you an artist due to your love of painting models? I have 2 Revell 1/35 P51's. I have painted one, using the Vallejo Turorial for this exact plane using the different hue's of Metalic Aluminum paint. I plan on keeping it "Clean Panel" with what you have outlined here. I'm thinking I will experiment with the second using some of the weathering you have shown us here as well. Thanks my friend, Keep them coming!

I really like the fact that at 3:20 we can clearly see the rivets of the landing wheel at the middle part of the wing. The wash makes a difference. Will use it next time. Question : do we need to sqribe the plastic seams at 1/48 scale ? If so whats the correct depth for the wash to adhere correctly ?
@pabloalbornoz8214
@pabloalbornoz8214 3 года назад
Hi George!! ! the model was not repaneled in any sector other than to increase the depth of the mobile surfaces, the model (an eduard) has very fine paneling and rivets, if necessary, a single pass is more than enough, If you have very wide or curved panels, it is advisable to make one pass with the panel maker, at most two

I wanted to ask for advice, I did some tests using the Wash above the Vallejo Air directly, without transparent, the color I spread it to the airbrush a week before; Unfortunately, to remove the Wash with Airbrush Thinner, the color melted. I had to use water ...😒
@vallejocolors

Helllo Alessandro! Thank you for your feedback. This is why Pablo used several layers of varnish before paneling and removing the excess of Model Wash. Try next time with varnishing to check that you get the same result :)

Do you need to make clear coat on the paintjob to make wash or you can just add the wash on your paintjob? (Acrylic painting and washing on it)

@vallejocolors
@vallejocolors 2 года назад

@vallejocolors
@vallejocolors 2 года назад
¡Hola Jose! Puedes aplicar lavados, pigmentos, barros, salpicaduras, etc... 😊💪🏻👍🏻

What is the difference between "Model Color Wash" and "Game Color Wash" ?

@@vallejocolors Thank you; The "Game Color Wash" appears to be a different thickness and formula than the "Model Color Wash"; What is the difference? Model Color Wash appears to be more of a Panel Line wash? Your thoughts are welcomed.

@@southpaw5483 That thickness you're referring to may be caused by the vivid pigments used. For this range you can use better thinner than water :) Anyway, this chart may help you thin them in the future facebook.com/vallejocolors/photos/a.296855687010167/4144607128901651/
