I almost cried playing this event, Silver has grown so much and the scenes with all his Pokémon and seeing how deeply he cares for them just tugged at my heart

Honestly, Geeta as the judge is a pleasant surprise, because it's quite tiresome to see the regional champions keep picking sync pairs of their own region (the most outrageous example is Kanto with Lance and Oak just picking Red, Blue and Leaf with zero hints of other teams participating). This allowed Lance and Silver really shined more and the animated trailer gave this one a slight push. Also, this is our first time in the Pokemon game where we can see more than 7 pokemon from the same trainer appearing on screen at the same time. It does give some chills to see 7 of Silver's Pokemon behind Silver and Tyranitar cheering for the two

2:51-Pretty full of himself 8:55-8 pokemon out at once? Still their combined bond at the end reminds me when all of Ash's pokemon were with him fighting Leon Silver came a long way for sure, am sure Giovanni even would be proud of him.

I still want to see the interaction between anime Giovanni and anime Silver in the Pokemon anime. I'm not talking about the Silver that Richie met while going to the Sevii Island. Rather, I'm talking about the Silver that is Giovanni's son.

it's kinda funny to see Lance's weaknesses are ice,rock,electric and fairy in game but in here and other animation, he has 3 weaknesses: 1. his personality (always underestimated others but at least he admitted it after that; often took proud of "dragon master", that's one of the point make him often gets a downfall in heat battles) 2. opposing mega evolved pokemon(yep, mega pokemon is lance killer. he got wrecked by mega Gardevoir in anime and got wrecked by mega ttar in here) 3. too obsessed with hyper beam, although he learned many types of moves from kukui, but didn't utilized it and keep spamming hyper beam

Because the whole game depends on its storytelling and character building, since game play is so straightforward. Not to say that the game play is boring - it's far from it -, but there's less things to distract you from the story, so the story has to be good
