still struggling so badly with 0 hunger and constant stomach discomfort to the point its actually a joke as on days I'm hungry I can have a slice of toast and it wont touch the sides but on a non-hungry day I force myself to have a slice of toast and my stomach flares up completely...i cant gain weight with no appetite and stomach issues its impossible :(

Firstly I'm sorry you're struggling, but know these are normal parts of some peoples recoveries and you will get through it. in terms of the hunger, it will take a while for your hunger cues to get back to 'normal' but in the meantime you MUST do your best to push past that, because in recovery especially whether your hungry for your snack (for example) or not, you still have to have it, because chances are a lot of the having no appetite, will be driven by the ed. And as for the stomach issues, that's quite a tricky one and obviously I'm not a medical professional, but my advice would be to slowly build up the volume of food you're having so if this feels more manageable start by eating little and OFTEN (when I say little, I still mean enough obviously) because in recovery your stomach isn't used to larger amounts of food so once you begin to eat more your stomach will probably go into shock, but like with anything surrounding recovery, with time it will get easier. As hard as it may be, you have to keep pushing! You've got this! xxx

I really appreciate this video and thanks for sharing your experiences. I struggle a lot with tracking calories and macro but I feel in my heart that I need to,stop in order to move forwards freely, it’s like this is the last bit that’s holding me back from achieving my highest and bestest self if that makes sense. May I ask, when you deleted the app, how did you or do you now navigate your nutrition? How do you put balanced meals together and not worry about the numbers? I know that our body’s need different amounts everyday and it’s not ‘normal’ to eat the exact same everyday but it just feels so scary to start doing things so freely. Any advice would be again so helpful xx
