The irises are beautiful. I will have to go back and review your video when you planted them to know when to plant. I'm very impressed! You are a great landscaper!
I love your videos Yulia. Love how at the end you pan over the garden set to beautiful music. I’ve been gardening for many years and have my favorite flowers but I must say bearded irises are my very favorite. They are gorgeous artwork ❤️
You paint landscapes so beautifully with plants, flowers, shrubs and trees. It all looks so naturally and seamlessly cohesive. What a wonderful talent you possess and I hope I can gain even a small amount of garden and landscaping wisdom from you and your great videos.
Loving the iris show Yulia! Just gorgeous...I have several of those mentioned from Schreiner's Iris Gardens. I am going to treat myself to some more later this year.
Such beautiful Iris, I have a few good looking ones flowering in my Massachusetts garden right now . Wish the Astilbe had been in bloom , thank you for the update
Beautiful! Thanks for taking us back to see how it all looks in the spring. Are the small grasses in the borders around the pool also creeping sedge? I’m looking for small, compact grasses but I don’t want them to spread. Zone 5 if you have any recommendations 😊
Thank you for this follow up. It's so nice to see how plants mature. I love the plant/color repetition. It's so calming vs. the staccato of many colors as in English gardens (which I loved for years). I have grown nepeta for decades. I always have success with them in my sandy soil. I recently purchased 'Chartreuse On the Loose' variety and it's become my favorite of the many nepeta varieties I've grown. I've never been a fan of bearded iris, but may have to plant a few of these. I'm in love with a new lilac, 'Virtual Violet,' and its fragrance is so wonderful. Maybe dot some irises in this new bed I'm adding near my bedroom window. 👃🏼 Along with the very fragrant 'Duchesse de Nemours' peony.
I like that meadow rue plant. Can you tell us more about it such as where you get it and how you care for it? Is it invasive at all. Does not look like it is carried by the regular plant stores I shop at either on line or brick and mortar.
Stunning irises! I relocated a hydrangea that was a deer snack bar. Now they are nibbling my nandina… we have so much rain this spring, I’m not sure the spray can even stay on:(
