Your gardens are absolutely beautiful and so natural looking like they’ve been there forever! I cannot thank you enough for sharing all of your knowledge with us ❤
I love seeing your garden Yuliya. And fun to see your choices in planting your own garden vs the gardens you design and execute for others. Such different and interesting compositions/styles. Shows how talented you are as a garden designer!
So fun when you can save a plant (hydrangea) and bring back to life! Garden is so pretty. Glad to see update on the American Pillar. I just bought one for my son, after watching your video last year.
I love the naturalistic planting! It feels magical. I hope your garden inspires others as this type of planting is so good for wildlife and humans alike.
Oh Yuliya I am so jealous of your garden as I live in my Zone 9b in Northern CA. Your space is right up my alley-- lush, a bit wild, and lots of birds! Thanks for sharing.
Lovely. It's wonderful when our gardens bring us so much joy! Tell me more about growing blueberries please. This is my first year growing blueberries.
Dear Yuliya, thanks so much for all your beautiful garden tours. I have 3:40 been watching you for a few years now and started winter sowing because of your video on it. I just wanted to tell you that I think the shrub you showed was deutzia pink a boo. I have both kolkwitzia and deutzia pink a boo and they are similar but kolkwitzia flower are more bell shaped but both are large and spray out. Thanks again.
My aruncus is finally putting on some size and I love it! Only one of a few bare roots survived, so I think I need more. Also the monkshood this year! My word! They’re already chest high and only foliage! Can’t wait to see them bloom in fall 🤩 Native and Sun King aralia are also getting huge! Loving seeing things mature. It’s so rewarding. Your garden is always enviable 😉
Love your meadow garden. Our hydrangea macrophylla did not have a single bloom last year due to the early buds freezing (as you mentioned). I decided to give them one more year to redeem themselves or they were OUT. They must have heard me, hundreds and hundreds of blooms this year. Also, must have read the seed packet wrong, had no idea Feverfew is perennial in our now zone 7, so last years plants are blooming and the new ones I sowed this year are just starting to bloom. Now I have 3 different varieties in my garden...yay! We have 6 Green Giants and waiting for them to get to the height I want (as a privacy/green screen) then will chop off the leader to create a dense hedge. Our neighbors love them as well.
Beautiful and joyful garden! Some of your winters might be cold enough that the Chicago Hardy would die down to the ground. The espalier might be challenging to keep long-term.
Hi Yuliya. Thank you so much for the tour. The partial sun/shade with hydrangeas is my favorite. It reminds me of Van Vleck Garden. I have a spot like this underneath big mature tree. I will work on creating one. 😊🥰❤️
I just love your naturalistic gardening style! It’s never fussy or formal looking. I do have a question… I noticed that I’ve never seen zinnias growing in your garden. Is there a reason why? I love them but they suffer from powdery mildew (I live in SW Ohio).
You mention a large stunning pink bush that you pronounced as "Quincea" - and I can't find it - do I have the spelling correct - could you detail the scientific name?
