@@livingonabudget1890 I think the only sad person here is the one trying to pick fights on the internet and trying to decide what other people can and cannot play. If you are too dense to understand that different people enjoy different aspects of the game and other strategies are just as valid as whichever one you prefer, then I'm certain that I can't explain it in small enough words to make you udnerstand. And if your life is so empty that you need to get off by trying to act "tough" in RU-vid comments, then I honestly just feel sad for you.

Dude I’ve been so high on jewel thief since it came out, a 3/3 vigilance trample is nothing to sneeze at and gives you a treasure to boot! Doesn’t have any crazy abilities but I think it fits well in a bunch of decks and could see more play (plus it’s common!)

i'm a newer player so my evaluation of cards isn't always up to snuff, but i definitely eyebrow raised at that card when i first played against it, and now it's become a solid staple in my green pauper decks. especially in that format where bodies tend to be pretty shitty, it's good value!

The UW player at the end was playing a deck that kinda reminds me of the theros beyond death era of UW control. very much on board with enchantments like restoration and lockdown and planeswalkers. nice little kick of nostalgia

Depends on your mmr, if its lower you'll face mostly bad decks. If its low enough, you're actually going to face starter and 250 card decks, in mythic.

I've been messing with a mono green and green/black deck that ramps into Green Sun's Zenith. It's very nice when you can haste out a T-Rex on turn 4. 😊

nonobvious play, but at 10:40 you could make a land into a creature, if you don't think you'll block with loamspeaker, since even a tapped land still gets a +1/+1 counter from defiler which is relevant on the next turn

I know you always say don't recommend a card unless you remove something. Take out a few Augurs for Kodama of the West Tree. It combos insanely well with Defiler. If you can get both those onto the battlefield, once the counters are distributed everyone gets trample (until Kodama leaves the battlefield). It doesn't always go off, but when it does...

I don't think augur is a good card for such a fast meta, but you'd be switching your only card advantage with ramp. What you could do is to remove the Prowlers and Loamspeakers, combine them into that 2 mana dork that eats graveyards, then put Kodama on the 3 spot. I'd also remove the Augur for that 3 drop with vigilance that makes a clue. This combination is probably worse against aggro, though, which is not something you want usually.

@@metalhev3989 The ramp is fun, but I was more focused on giving everything trample. However, having tried my "version" of this deck for a bit, I realize that Nissa does that better than Kodama. Gives everyone trample and gives them huge +7/+7 boosts. So yeah, CGB knows what he's doing. Who would have guessed!

Why does nobody play Kodama of the West tree? He’s perfect for mono green and he gives everyone with a counter trample and if your opponent takes damage you search for a basic on and put it into play tapped for each creature that dealt damage

I think it depends on what you’re playing. When I’m playing monoblack I don’t see a lot of black decks. Then I switch to monowhite and it’s rare when I see a soldiers deck.

Unfortunately for me all the meta calls are useless because the matchmaker makes me dirty! Today: ok, I will use rakdos midrange, it will destroy monored and soldiers! No such opponents in 30 games!!! Just control decks who destroy me. All monored player are "mysteriously" disappeared!

Please, stop. You are showcasing too many cool decks. First I wanted to play the mono white midrange, but then you showed the cool Radkos deck that sneaks in Atraxa. Then you made the cool mindslice apparatus/white sun's twilight control deck. Now I have no idea what to play, and I can't make them all. Maybe I'll just go with mono red.
