Hello Carl, I use to think the same thing but I guess it's because of all the free sunshine they get. Also don't forget here most homeowners have a maid or housekeeper.

Some of the bathrooms look like wet baths. Is that standard in homes there, where the shower isn't enclosed?

That depends on the builder. Sometimes they will leave a few small things off to try to lower the price.

Hello Brother Ron, the showers are there, you just have to install the glass around it yourself or the builder can do it for you for an additional cost.
