Kashi's cage looks amazing! You must be so happy with how it looks. I love the palm tree in the middle. I like the oasis area, complete with crocodile. I like that you kept some areas the same and kept some of her favourite toys too. It was so cute to see Kashi perched on her Jungle Gym, looking out onto her kingdom. It's cute that she watches you spot clean from there. Kashi made me laugh swinging on her coconut bridge. And she sure loves her oat sprays. I'm so glad Kashi is enjoying her new theme. It looks incredible.

I thought I was watching Animal Planet!! Loved the music and intro. I LOVE this theme so much. The "water" is just amazing, love blue.

Hello. I am a "new" hamster mamma. I owned gerbils when young and my family hamster sat for my brother's class hamster for two christmas vacations, but I just got my hamster Cecilia two weeks ago. Thank you so much for your channel. As it had been a while since I had any hamster experience I bought a critter trail start up cage. She's a Syrian. After watching your videos I realized the cage was waaaaaay too small and her wheel too; which she was not using. Also, she was bar chewing like crazy! I made her a DIY bin cage with about 900sqft of floor space and used the glass vase burrow model you showed. She LOVES it and is a much happier hamster now. I love animals and was very dissapointed to learn that petshops are able to sell this unsuitable housing. I think when people are unfamiliar they think they are doing what is right because they trust the pet store. You are doing a great service by offering accurate information that helps to guide people to better practices and the knowledge to ensure they are doing the best for the little life in trusted to their care. Thank you!

Hi hopping hammy...oooo your new dessertcage is so beautiful. What a great place to exploir for Kashi. You understand so well what your hamster needs to feel safe and to feel happy. I forgot to tell you earlier this day that the cage themes you showed on utube helped me true a very difficult time in my life. I had to lay down in my bed for a very long time..i felt so incredble bored... so thats why i started looking on utube..looking at the movies you made of youre new cagethemes was so much fun to watch at. It really helped me true the many very looooooong days. Thank you for that. But dont worrie that is all behind me now... i can walk again and i can do most of the things i want. Even taking care of my own hamster and do cage makeovers l.o.l. And if that didnt happened to me..i would never found you on utube and i would never thought about taking a hamster again so that difficult time has a very happy ending. I wish Kashi a lot of fun in her new cage and i wish you a lot of fun watching her when she is exploiring her new great invirement. I really like that Stonehenge Easter island effect around the pond That you did with those few rocks. I know you don’t wanna stand a whole bunch of rocks up because they could fall on little Kashi but those few look really cool!

I know you probably won't be able to do this but I would love a more vertical cage, with trees Kashia can climb up inside or tunnels that lead under ground. What I would personally love is a tree that she can enter from the base or through an underground tunnel, and Kashia can climb up the inside and walk out onto a higher up platform or branch. (:

I'm curious as to why you are worried about confusing her? Is it because she is new? I have a winter white dwarf in a 40 gallon and I tend to rearrange it every now and then (keeping the same bedding until it is time for a deep clean). Do you think I am confusing him? how on earth do you manage to clean it? It's so big and you wouldn't want to take everything out every time you clean it?

Hey HoppingHammy! I just wanted to ask you a question about the habitrail ovo. I’m not sure if you use them anymore but I just thought I would ask you anyway. So I know that you used the ovo and the habitrail tubes for your Syrian hamsters, like Sumatra, and I have a dwarf hamster and I just wanted to know if the tubes are suitable for dwarf hamsters, before I go out and buy them! I would really appreciate if you took the time to answer my question! Thank you!!
