Incredible as always, the cage is absolutely beautiful you did an amazing job! Carob is such a cutie pie and so full of character, I loved watching her try to walk across the driftwood and how cautious she was being. Silly thing! I am still baffled by how you get your video lighting so perfect, even with studio lamps my cage tours always feel dark and grainy to me. You are my lighting goals haha :)
+ErinsAnimals Oh, thank you so much! I've always thought your lighting was bright and perfect in all of your videos though. I tend to move the lights around quite a bit so that every shot and and angle gets the best lighting possible. Perhaps the wattage of our bulbs is different? I was careful not to watch this with Marmy around, because I was sure she would give me the stink eye for not giving her the MANSION PARADISE that you have for pampered Carob!!! I'm literally in absolute awe by the incredible cage setup! Marmy is a total burrower too so I am sure to keep at least 8 inches of bedding in her cage too! Oh I adored the footage of Carob exploring especially and all the different beddings. This kind of setup is absolutely my dream setup! Thank you for the inspiration, as always! This is Carob's add-on tank, which has been set up as an all-natural theme. I tried to incorporate as many natural items as possible so she could engage her "wild" instincts. :) (Who remembers where that quote came from?) This is giving me so much hamster cage envy. I have the money to give my hamsters a great setup but I still live with my parents who arent happy about the space usage so they have basically the minimum allowed cage space ;_; I compensate by getting them out as much as humanly possible. They dont bar chew or monkeybar or do other "I'm stressed my house is so small!" behaviour but... I love them so much. I wish I could give them mansions.

Oh my goodness 😱😱😱 This is SO incredible! I love the different substrates, the hideaways, everything! That terracotta house is so cool, I love that it's hidden beneath the wood like a secret clubhouse. I would definitely sleep in there! The use of the different substrates (like the Kaytee Granule bedding) is awesome, and i'm sure Carob loves to explore all the different "terrains" you have given her. This cage offers her so many different activities and things to do and explore. I can't imagine she would ever get bored in a space like this!! So well done!! Bravo!! ❤️❤️
Carob is the world's luckiest hamster. What a great tank. It was wonderful to watch her explore; she looked like a little black bear out in nature, lol.
Beautiful cage ! I love your creative ideas, soooo adorable. I wanted to send a big thank you for you "Hamster taming video". I am having the trouble you had with Sumatra's taming. I had to change the cages because, I too, had tubes that she "Miss Christmas" would hide in. I've heard of some of the taming methods but you mentioned some new ones. Thanks for all your videos.
Oh, I could watch Carob play in this all day!! She is sooooo adorable!! There are so many things I love about this setup, but the sand area and the extra thick Aspen in which to tunnel are my favorites. I am going to try this with my Syrian, Merlin. My dwarf hamsters each have quite a bit of Aspen in their cages and love, love, love to tunnel. Thank you, HoppingHammy for another great video!! Wow! This is an incredible natural cage! You are so talented at hamster interior design! I love that you include several different textures for Carob to chew on and dig in. Carob seems to enjoy the tubes. It was lovely seeing her travel through them from one tank to the other. There are few things better than watching our hamsters enjoy their cages.
I praise all the effort you must put into these cages! I have seen people who use a 10x10 cheap plastic bar cage that the head can go through, but yours, its just fabulous!

Thank you! It's so, so important to show proper, animal-friendly hamster stables where they can live according to their needs. You did a great job on that. Cages need to be illegal (except for mice, but they need to become much, much bigger and higher. basically two of your hamster stables on top of each other).
Amazing cage tour HH!! And Carob is a cute star who explores everything. The germans who are into natural pet habitats mix layers of hay with layers of aspen (like a lasagna) so the tunnels should not fall back.and they say that hamsters start to burrow when they get a minimum of 10" / 25 cm of this mix to dig tunnels in.

This is the best hamster cage I've seen. Having said that, I read that in the wild hamster on average roams an 8 mile radius on any given night in the wild. No shade here at all. I applaud you. Just, for the most part believe that the pet trade should not sell these animals. They are so horribly exploited.

In my opinion natural themes are the best for hamsters! :) The setup is so amazing! :D Carob is a very lucky hamster, her habitat is sooo big! She's so lucky, that she can have 2 huge cages together (And also OVO tubes) And the Valentine's day theme looks also really pretty! The OVO tubes are so cool! :)And Wow, I really like those wood pieces! Wow! This has given me a lot of inspiration for my own natural themed cage! I have been looking for a cage tour similar to this one for a long time, so I am so happy to have found this! Carob is absolutely adorable (as always!) I loved when she was crawling through the tubes! Would those types of tube connections between cages be safe for most non-chewing Syrians? My greatest concern is that they would get stuck. Obviously Carob has no problem, but is there any particular tube that is safer than others? Thanks again for the amazing video!

+Wiktoria Sierocka You should see some of the incredible German cages. :) Those are even bigger! I also know of someone with a DIY cage that, if I remember correctly, is 3,000+ sq. inches.
