i don't think i've consumed a series so fast in my life. i couldn't get enough of that killing machine, Lana!😂 luckily for me i have the memory of a goldfish so i forget most stories lololol

That's awesome you've gotten better about dnfing. I probably dnfed the most this year compared to previous years. It's freeing and I see it as a time-saver because then I can get on to better books! I feel like plans were made to be broken, LOL. I'm also doing a "low buy" year. I already drastically reduced spending this year, but I want to do even more so I can lower my physical tbr, which is over 200! I hope you continue the book ends series and maybe the low buy strategy will help you to reduce your physical tbr too!

dnf'ing really is freeing! think of all the books we can get to now! i think we're going to succeed in our low buy years. i feel like a lot of people are doing a low buy next year or maybe i'm just now seeing a lot of content about it. and i know that you can definitely lower your physical tbr. i believe in you, jess!😅

@@RobinReads I really hope I get to it too! And ooo I feel like everyone already talks about Becky Chambers lol but I liked the Wayfarers series by her (the first 2 books were my fav) And for an indie author- I really liked Escaping First Contact by T.S Beier!

omg please try the mindfuck series! i am now invested in knowing whether you'd like it or not 😂 i did finish TOG! 10/10 would not read the whole series again lol. i was a little let down by Kingdom of Ash. you could have 24 friends pick books for you! but i know you'd come up with a much cooler 24 in 24 idea
