The way you turn down big/fast brands that would make you a quick buck because you think of the ethical implications is so so powerful, and something many of us want to see from other content producers. Thank you for always challenging the norm and creating art. (I also graduated this semester from college and hope you feel you can rest and celebrate your achievements)

I'm only half way through the video, but I wanted to take the time to say what I need to say. You're an amazing person, you're my absolute favourite RU-vidr. You're highly reflective, you understand your part to play, you're going through a similar journey to me with being in the field of design and development and not knowing exactly where to go with that whilst maintaining our morals. But despite this you try your hardest to do what is best for the "greater good" whilst also maintaining a realistic point of view that you still need to be able to live yourself and support yourself. You're incredibly driven, incredibly passionate and determined. You inspire me to be everything I want to be especially when I'm at my low points. Even when you're feeling low, you're honest, you're transparent and it's a breath of fresh air. Even when you're down, you pick me and most likely others up. You're so beautiful, in and out. As someone who has worked at a small coffee shop for the past 4 years, I highly recommend!!! It is a lot more work than people think (especially in small, family owned businesses) but I feel like it has really helped me develop a bunch of useful skills that apply to both real life situations and other employment opportunities! (Also free food and drinks are a plus lol) congratulations!!

Congratulations on your graduation! I have watched you through all four years! You have inspired this 61 year old to find her art again and I thank you for that! I always look forward to your videos! I commend you for not following a career in clothing manufacturing. We all have too much clothing anyway so I am glad that you decided not to be a part of that problem. I also commend you on not becoming an "influencer" -- I generally find such people to be self-important flakes selling snake oil. What I think is the most important thing for you and your art is to enjoy the journey while hoping for the best, but planning for the worst. Why not work in a cafe? It is good honest work that is not so all consuming that it leaves you no time for your art. My advise to you is never feel a job is beneath you or that you deserve more than you can earn yourself. Life messes with us and we can not think ourselves to be so precious that we can't get our hands dirty when necessary. I wish you the best of luck with your Patreon channel -- looks like you will be very busy! As long as you continue to be true to yourself, the good vibes you send out into the world will come back to you.

FLOW: the psychology of optimal experience 2. CREATIVITY: the psychology of discovery and invention Both by the same author Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, I think you would enjoy these readings and help you continue a positive and healthy outlook on life and how art is a big part of it. I know how you feel.. I loved fashion for its textiles art and creative freedom in fabric form and print, but once I realised how fast fashion works.. I started to feel a pointless attitude towards fashion designing, because it would be irrelevant anyway after the next seasonal trend and I don’t like the waste created from fashion. I’m also in a pickle because I still love design and I’m hoping I can find myself soon in whatever art form it is.

I have just finished the second year of my degree in Film & Digital Art but a lot of my friends are graduating at the moment and its made me start thinking about what I'll do. I've been watching since you started RISD and its so wonderful to see you now at this point! I really respect integrity (esp with rejecting those brand deals) and think patreon will be such a wonderful way for you to make art and content that's really true to you. Sorry your last year had to come to such a strange end, I just finished my senior year of high school, and I still don't know if it's hit me yet because of what's going on. You really helped me on my journey of realizing I want to study art, and coming up with options for how I can achieve that. I applied to and got accepted into an art school! And although I'm still not sure where I'm going to college, or if I want to attend the art school, I'm just so proud I got into one! Watching your journey has been so inspiring, and has brought me so much joy and comfort during rough and stressful times (finals, am I right?). I started watching your videos a year before I joined university. I discovered you through your RISD move in video and I have watched you for a year and imagined my college experience and then I joined college in 2017 and continued to watch you. Now, We have both graduated this year from our undergrads and your videos were always there for me. They gave me warmth and happiness and I just felt at home. I felt like I had a friend throughout my undergrad. I don't know if you will ever see this Annabelle but I still watch your old vlogs because they take me back to my first few months at college. just try working at cafe! I worked at a cafe and i liked it. Rush hour at times, moves around a lot. Its sometimes nerve wrecking and sometimes its just nice to socialise with customers. You meet people. And just making those coffees, just make their day. I too saw a lot of saying “its not fun/stressing etc” but i sincerely do like it. Personally, for me, my weight’s around the same numbers but physically, i looked thinner and i really like that. Im always struggling with body image so i appreciate working that moves around a lot. Not to mention, the smell of coffee! Calms you down. Just puts u in a better mood (even tho im not coffee-addict but i love the smell).

hearing you speak about your values and how strongly you hold them makes me feel so encouraged, an influencer like you is what we need, someone who can stick to their word and what they believe in. i really hope i’ll be able to support you and i’m wishing you all the best!!!
