Rabea and Hannah also have a few of their own covers that are well worth checking out. Notably their version of Chris Isaac's Wicked game and Timberlake's What Goes Around. Also worth pointing out that Hannah is currently a part of a band named Bledig and Rabea was the guitarist at Stomzy's headlining show at Glastonbury. Leo's videos often often up little rabbit holes that you can take a trip down.

Scream-o ,that's what I called it. When my son was 12 he really got into that music .We would go on hockey road trips in the car (3 plus hours) and he would blast it off the Ipod ,I became a fan.

I was so delighted when I saw you were kicking off a Covers Stream with this one! In fact, I have to commend you for being able to get on more RU-vid artists on this stream. Leo Moracchioli, Liliac and Postmodern Jukebox are all very successful on RU-vid, but get little exposure elsewhere because they are not signed to a record label. Leo has a ton of great covers and I can't wait 'til you get to see more! He always has the outros and they are all fun, but this one is the only one necessary to react to. When Leo's band Frog Leap plays "Africa" live they go into that outro. so happy to see the reaction I knew we would get from you two. By the way, This weeks streams especially have been a blast! 🤘😝🤘I don't know if you saw how the whole Prince thing got started because you were watching "Nothing Compares To You", but it was and is hilarious! Leo releases a new video every Friday. I look forward to it every week. He's been on YT for 15 years. And there are ton of great covers on his channel. Does a custom outro for every video. Though a few years back he accepted fan submissions for outro's which was pretty cool. And last year he did a cover of Get the Party Started but the video was all fan submissions.

I just stumbled across your channel and glad I did. Going through your archives you do so many reactions to songs that nobody else does and so many of these songs I played in bar bands back in the 80's (yeah, I'm old). However, the best part of these video's is Lex. I love the genuine expression of happiness that crosses over your face when you are listening and digging a new song. Leo is an unbelievably talented musician. He kicks out a new cover every week and takes care of everything himself (arrangement, playing all the instruments, recording, mixing, filming, editing, publishing, etc...). Sometimes he features guest musicians, like Bea and Hannah in this one. Sometimes he plays the drums and sometimes he programs them. His cover of Sultans of Swing, featuring the incredible Mary Spender, and this one are my 2 favorites.

Followed Leo for years, he's amazing. Norwegian artist, his wife is also a bass player in her own band. I love his mix of humor and metal, so well done. Always a treat when Hannah collabs with him too! He also sometimes has his daughter in the videos, she's hilarious. I love that it's a family thing for him, they all just really love music. I don't mean to gush, I just have so much respect for Leo lol.

This was a seminal track, for Frog Leap and Leo. They all met at a festival, in Norway and did the track. It went MASSIVELY viral and his career and the Frog Leap Band were born. They tour all around the world. Tot's lyrics do geographically fall flat though Mount Kilimanjaro and the Serengeti are thousands of miles apart. :P

So at the end when Lex says "I wonder if this is jamming" The answer is yes, sort of. Jamming is a bunch of friends (or even just two) getting together and playing off the top of their head. No ryhme or reason, just playing. Eventually song structure after a few jam sessions take form which can evolve into what you saw at the end there. Me and a friend used to play open mic nights at a club called Jesters in NC where it was him on guitar, and me on drums. after a few weeks of going we had a 'playlist' of riffs he would play and it was probably one of my favorite jam sessions ever.

Rabea, the guitarist playing the solo, actually opened up the Reading/Leeds festival (akin to Coachella in the US) headline slot with UK grime rapper Stormzy last summer. All through being seen on Instagram by a member of Stormzy's team, and hisnfirst gig since coming out of lock down. Not bad for a guy who works in a guitar shop in Guildfird.
