Der film ist für mich so unglaublich traurig, ich muss jedea mal heulen und die lieder sind alle so schön vor allem dieses. "Hier oben war es einmal kahl, ganz grau und leer...." ist mein lieblings teil

Finde das Lied wirklich super, auch in anderen Sprachen! Beim Deutschen gefällt mir besonders, dass es nicht so gehaucht ist wie in manchen deutschen Übersetzungen, sondern, dass die Stimme von Pia Allgaier richtig Stärke hat! LYRICS [Chang’e] Meine Kraft kann bei Nacht jeder sehen. Seid bereit was jetzt kommt wird euch gut gefallen. So naaaahhh… [Fei Fei] Chang’e? [Chang‘e] …am größten Star von Allen! Ich liebe einfach diesen Film ich hab ihn schon vier mal angeschaut und ich liebe einfach dieses Lied das ist so schön

I feel Pia is definitely overused by this point. However, I can’t deny how amazing she has been as of late. Her performances in Tangled: The Series, Frozen 2, and now Over the Moon, are the best she has ever sounded.

LMAO, I love this version ❤️ I don't know why, but I think almost all German artists have amazing voices, I really loved it more than the Latin Spanish version. XD Well, this is my personal opinion, so.... Wtv. (Posdata: I'm from Mexico)

Not gonna lie I'm kinda fascinated by the quality of the lyrice translation. Initially I completely wrote this song off as the one that was the last priority in the translation process, which to be fair would have been understandable since most of the lyrics in "Ultraluminary" just don't matter narratively. The bridge is actually significant and overall the lyrics are meant to merely introduce Chang'e and Lunaria in an expectation subversing way the plot can from then on flesh out properly. Yeah, there are some general informations for the character and setting being established but the primary function of the song is being a show-stopper, so since the other songs in the german dub are translated very well I gave "Ultraluminary" a pass since I thought they simple had the right priorities in their translation process very limited by time restrictions. I can absolutely respect that. But taking another look at the song I have to realize that most of the lyrics arent badly translated at all. Straight up, the verses are GREAT, its merely when it comes to the choruses where the lyrics just suddenly severely drop in quality. The transition passages vary in their quality but arent horrible by all means. This is really interesting but awfully unfortunate. Somehow *especially the end of the song* manages to have a quality drop in the translation that has you thinking afterwards that the ENTIRE song was badly translated when that actually wasnt the case. Literally up til the first "Ich bin der größte Star von Allen!" the lyrics are STELLAR and then later the Milky Way verse is damn great too. Sure, besides those the song in its entirety is not the best work a german dub has ever done, but again, most of the lyrics do not hold that much significants in the english original either. On an objective level regarding the whole movie this is absolutely forgivable. But MAN did this song get unlucky that the lines that were "sacrificed" to prioritize others just happen to be so many of the ones the MELODY/RHYTHM highlights to keep the song stuck in the viewers brain. Almost everyhing from "From tears I rise" on is catchy as hell and sells the song in its last section but that just also _had_ to be the one where the lyrics hardly hold up. Honestly its baffling and yet beyond interesting in my opinion. It highlights very neatly how a song is structured and what lines/verses/sections HAVE to be prioritized in a translation process. Writing lyrics is already a type of art by itself in the original language and "Größter Star von Allen" (btw I DIG this titel. Ultraluminary as a song titel is interchangeable as HELL and this is where song translators should absolutely be allowed to take artistic liberties to work with the strenghts of their own language. And buddy, this titel/line is fire in its own right) is a prime example in my opinion of what happenes if the translator either doesnt understand how songs and their lyrics work (which is not a sin, translators can specialize too) or, which is what I think actually happened here, Netflix is simply not giving the dubbing studios enough time to properly USE that knowledge (since again, the other songs were translated really well), which results in them having to prioritize and sacrifice all kind of things and sometimes that will just lead to mistakes simply being made. Thats just human. I dont know how the hell I ended up writin all of this, but I guess my conclusion is: the Movie/show industry needs to start giving their international translators the time they need damnit!

Die Englishe version ist echt nicht schlecht was sonst immer der fall ist aber die Deutsche hebt mal wieder ab deutsche songs von animationen sind von dem was ich immer gehört habe meist um längen besser (meine persöhnliche meinung)

It's now a bit too much of Pia now (just like other recent German voices like Debby Van Dooren, Julia Scheeser or Magdalena Turba haha) but I can't deny Pia impresses once more with a song and a role we wouldn't expect her !!!!!! Definitively a favorite !

Ich mag ihre Stimme, aber den Text finde ich auf englisch einfach besser :/ Als ich diese Szene auf Deutsch gesehn hab musste ich irgendwie die ganze Zeit eher schmunzeln. Als ich dann die Version von Phillipa gehört habe, bekam ich RICHTIG Gänsehaut.

Das Lied und die Stimme sind mega🙈 Schade, dass man das Video dazu nur als Auschnitt sieht😕 Auch wenn der Rahmen sehr schön gestaltet und positioniert ist🍀
