One size grip change for my Head racquet was under 1 gram (grip 4 to grip 3 using palettes) so it should be accounted in the tolerances.

Nice work. I can only play up to 330SW and I use a dampener which adds an other 2 to 3 units. I’ve bought the gen3 PS 98s from Tenniswarehoise b4 and had to return em cuz the SW is too high. Just goes to show Babolat QC can vary a lot.

Thank you. According to Babolat the RA is 68 (unstrung). So the strung stiffness can be around 65-66 RA.

As a beginner player I consider between the Babolat Pure Strike 285g and the Tecnifibre TF-X1 V2 285g. Which one would you recommend me?

It's like asking a question between vanilla or chocolate icecream. I can't answer this because there is zero info about you, about your tennis background, about your technique, your style, about your plans, vision etc. Come on guys, be more creative and think about it for a time.

Do you assume that every beginner is the same? I don't think so. But if you want the short answer - Pure Strike will give you more precision, feel and manooovrlbity, but TF-X1 will give you more power, spin and stability.

You can't say best. All are great. It depends on what you want from your new racket.

You should playtest it first to really know the difference. I can't tell because I don't know how you play, what is your style etc.

If this one is 336. What would the 18x20 be. And the 97 😮

I would say normally the 336 SW is expected from the 18x20 version. The 97 has lower swingweight because of the 310 mm balance.

Why is it that the PS 98’s have such a high claimed swing weight if they have identical weight and balance specs to other similar rackets like the 98 blades?

I would say that it's the throat lenght and overall shape that makes this difference. Pure Strikes have a very long throat section so the head seems to be far away from the handle and this can lead to a higher swingweight.
