Nba players should be paid according to the accolades they achieved, with incentives add on or deductions based on their current stats and performance..i know basketball is a team sport, but still paid based on their individual performances..it is downright shamefull for a player like jaylen brown or anthony davis to be the highest paid players when they are not even top ten and in the case of brown is even outside of top 20 right now..

Dude its according to the organizations if I run a company idc weather I have the best in the world once that person is effective in running my company thats all that matters also players get huge contracts to stay like in a bidding process if I think a player is worth 80mil and someone else wants to pay 90mil ill pay 100mil if I don't wanna lose that player thats how it is jaylen is young and anyteam will pay top dollar for him so give him an offer he can't refuse thats all...

I say that A.D accepted that big contract extension for the next 6 years knowing that he is not playing to his potential, and what i see is A.D doesn't perform well without LeBron on the floor, so this is the end of LeBron contract and he decides to retire after the season, that 286 Mil could be distributed on couple other players that Lakers could have after LeBron (IMO)

This is why the WNBA players can't have equal pay to the men. Because how do you equate women to men that aren't equal to each other? Not to mention, if the men were making less than the women, the women wouldn't be fight for men to get equal pay, would they?
