I just understood something crucial via this video : we all need to slow down when walking into places we visit, then the experience is amazing we discover everything every situation
Its been over a decade since I was in Japan. I absolutely loved it there. Didn't speak a word of Japanese, but I had a pamphlet of basic phrases that I kept with me. I loved how happy people would get when they saw a giant foreigner like myself trying his hardest to communicate. Didn't meet a single person who wasn't super helpful when they saw me trying.
Very cool video, shows this place very well! 🤗 Other Japanese videsos just go through the lines, but don't show the point in such detail. Do you have a video of the Nonbei yokocho that shows it in detail? 🤔 BIG LIKE!
I remember wandering into this place by myself a while ago, went to an izakaya, smoked indoors, drank whiskey highballs and made friends with a very friendly Japanese couple before getting the last crowded train back to Shibuya. One thing that's key to remember before getting too drunk is the trains stop running at midnight 😂. Luckily the station is right across the street,
Good question haha Here’s the explanation: Piss Alley is named for its early years, when it was a shady destination for criminals to get their drink on. The place wasn't very built up back in those days, so instead of using a toilet, people just relieved themselves wherever they could.
