I had nothing better to do, so I spent this morning translating the entire video into swedish (using the subtitles), I hope that someone finds it useful!
In my local zoo, by the polar bears and penguins we've got this giant wall of ice where you can melt your hand print into it. My print is still there from when I was 12!! I always thought that was neat. Love the build so far!
Does it happen to be the Detroit Zoo? I haven’t been there in a while, but I think I remember that being a thing there and I’m curious if we’re thinking of the same zoo lol
There is an attraction called Goats on the Roof in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I was watching Carpetbagger's video from there this morning and I was thinking, "What if someone did something like this for the Dahl Sheep in Planet Zoo?" You do have systems for big cats to traverse over a zoo so why not the sheep?
Ever since you were speaking of a polar bear habitat in Koali Zoo, I knew that at some point you were making one. Glad to see you are making your planet zoo dreams of a sandbox polar beat habitat come true. Cant wait to see part two. 😊😃
Interesting fact. Polar bears are the largest carnivore animal and polar bear and grizzly bear create a huge hybrid called the growler bear. Polar bears live in Canada the most that’s where I live. Polar bear like to dance too I got know that when I went to Toronto zoo I sawed polar bears were dancing the humans dance they were shaking their heads lol funny bears I love the habitat though u should watch Toronto zoo polar bear dancing search that pls and comment below ⬇
I haven't watched the video yet but i think it's a good idea to build a mountain and on the top of it the snowy section and every thing related to that place like wooden houses and chairlift that relate the top with the land.... I think that's great 🇸🇾❤️ It was way better that the snow covers all the place
This looks great. I have always played sandbox but always used animal welfare as I like to create proper terrain, nature etc for these animals. However, when building the polar bear habitat, I finally turned off animal welfare. They require too much space in the game and guests complain about the viewing options. Underwater viewing area just looks fine! I like using a cave for them rather than a shelter building. So much more natural.
Some of your Dutch videos came up in my RU-vid list, they were fun to watch even though I do not understand Dutch. This may be a silly question, but does it take more words in Dutch to say something than English? Im not sure if that question makes sense.
I am very sad because in my own country the state of kerala has an incident a pregnant elephant was passing by a village some villagers gave some pineapples to the pregnant elephant but the villagers know there were bomb in the pineapple then she eat it then he feel burning pain so he go to a nearby river and stand in the river and then the bomb burst the elephant and her baby also dies😭😭😭😭
Omfg, I just one second ago saw this on the news! This is scary! And omg I feel so sad for the Elephant.. just saw them dragging it out if the water 😭❤ RIP 😔
What a great video and superb habitat! I'm a regular visitor of Pairi Daiza that by the way has received the title of "Best Zoo in Europe" for the last two or three years, and yes, I absolutely do recognize the Pairi Daiza habitat in your creation. If anyone needs some inspiration for building a habitat, look up "Pairi Daiza" on youtube or so. They do heve a lot of great habitats. Love your build!
You are right when you say it looks a little plain, but it is a polar bear habitat and there's not a whole lot you can do to make it spectacular. That being said what you have done looks very nice.
Wowww I really like this habitat. Polar bears need so much space, but you always know how you can make something annoying turn into something great! I’m sure the bears like this habitat. I visit Pairi Daiza this weekend and I immediately recognized the habitat from the thumbnail so good job! :D I have pictures too if you want :) The "stairs" are indeed a very slow waterfall (actually there is a staff metal stairs on the side of the habitat) and all the windows of the building are hotels rooms. For the guests there is 3 view points : 2 on top and one big cave-ish for waterviewing (who's link to the others habitats undergrounds views area). For the fake snow it's actually painted concrete xp with white rocks and gravels of differents sizes. Same thing for the "mountain" on the back : it's concrete who's look like stone and ground (from far away it's really look great but when you're close you can see that it's fake :p). In the cave-ish there is a very cool presentation of the polar bears and an 3D view of their habitat. It's actually 3 times bigger that we can see ! They have acces to the back behind the "mountain" thanks to several tunnels. (I didn't took a picture because it was a projection in a dark room so super hard to capture in photo but maybe there is a way to find it on their website? You can see pictures of the hotels rooms with view on the polar bears there.). Anyway it look really great! Now we have to wait that they add hotels in planet zoo so you can transform the building in a true hotel ;).
@@RandoVideos4 we dont have real birds in the game.. we only have Flamingos and Peafowls, which we already have in the zoo.. and an Ostrich which will be added in the African area 😄
It's kind of small actually for them, and it has grass and trees. Gotta be sandbox mode. This would never work in Franchise. While I might not personally agree with the requirements needed, it's what the game demands.
its a little ridiculous that the polar bear needs so much room. there are several animals in the game that are much larger that also traverse great distances that don't require as much space.

LOVE IT. I think you should add Japanese maquaqes to the area too. You could use water effects, and hidden enrichment items to make hot springs like in their natural habitat! It would be so cute to see them having a little bath XD

yes, you could look at their grizly bear habitat, they swap habitats with the polar bear habitat but you could change that up a bit so they dont have to switch habitats. i recamend watching the zoo tours video on it.
This is a great build. I like that Frontier are trying to be realistic with what a polar bear would want. But also the bears here in Denmark have grass in their habitat and it's not like they never ever go through it or in any way looks like they hate the grass. So think that in that part the game is unrealistic.
Love it! :) Maybe you could simulate a little rocky island in the water section. Maybe even like an ice floe? Though... i don't know if the animals would use it...
@deladydesigner those holes are probably the windows of the resort! You have rooms where people can overnight and they have a view on the walrus or polar bears😁 By the way I'm trying to rebuild the pairi daiza zoo
I like it. The zoo I work for originally had made plans to have polar bears in the future (we're only have half of our land developed so we have a lot of species planned), but they just need so much space that we had to abandon the idea of polar bears. Instead we're now aiming for walrus (I sure hope they get added to Planet Zoo, because I have an amazing walrus habitat idea I'd love to make and then show my boss to go off of). It's a bummer about the polar bears not happening, but walrus are pretty cool too.
Yeah, thats also the reason why Polar Bears had double the amount of size requirements when the game came out 👀 I honestly doubt a bit of this Pairi Daiza habitat meets the max requirements 👀 but their habitat looks beautiful, thats for sure ❤ Would LOVE to see seals and a walrus too in Planet Zoo 😍 woah!
@@DeLadysigner yeah. To be honest with you, I think Frontier may have gotten a little carried away with polar bear requirements when it comes to space. Granted I've only ever been to two zoos that had them, but they seemed just fine with the habitats being as big as what you have in this video. Granted they'd enjoy a bigger space, but I'm pretty sure them needing a habitat as big as the habitat from franchise mode is overkill. I will say one thing though, they definitely got the part about them being super expensive to feed right though. That's another reason we had to abandon our plans of getting Polar Bear
Wouldn't it be cool, if we god some slow water effects and even smaller waterfalls.? I sometimes feel the 5meter is way to big or just to aggressive. Like I need something smaller and slow.
@@DeLadysigner had to build 2 generators hidden so I can power the whole habitat for the coolers. They really should change that, so coolers and heaters are powered when the gate is
