I would take off the return pump soft hose and immerse it in boiling water and push it snugly right up to the top of the barb and then clamp or zip tie it.
Yes you're correct. I need to find the best level without having too much water in the sump when the power is off. Right now the sump is ~80-90% full when the pump is off.
@@PurelyAquatic my L2 runs at 50% in my 320 and runs my media reactor and uv. Powerful pumps. Also I found running water level in overflow about 1/2 inch below secondary drain really quiets it down.
Hey mate, love your video series since i'm thinking about getting this tank too! Two questions, is it possible to switch the smaller Refugium chamber with the skimmer chamber? I want my skimmer to be running before my refugium haha Also at 6:50 the water splashing seems to be quite loud. Is that adjustable or will it always be this loud? Since the cabinet is open in the back that can be quite annoying if it's always this loud
Nice tank how much did the water box cost you if you don’t mind saying , I’m moving soon and my next tank to swap out my existing 125 is a water box maybe a 200 gallon so I’m just researching cost👍🏼
I got the rocks from bulk reef supply, reefer saver dry rocks ~100 lbs and broke it up to form the scape. I also used a few small/med foundation reef saver rocks for the legs. www.bulkreefsupply.com/catalogsearch/result?q=dry%20rock
