Some of you don’t even select the right EQ setting on your phone device to get the best sound result. Go to the music in setting and select ‘late night’ and Dolby atmos always on if you are using iPhone
I've watched dozens of comparasion videos, in all of them I preferred JBL way more. Went to a store yesterday and compared the 110 and sony xp500 myself in the store. Sony was SO much better sounding and the bass was better irl (for my preferences at least). Never judge speakers via youtube, the sound is so much different in real life than from a video
In fact you are absolutely right about that! Best quality and loudness PB100! PB 110 have lights and IP rating on it's side but sound is more important.
Sony bass is lauder also but not punchy..jbl have good bass punchy at the same time mid and high is crisp..sony always like as cinema sound and jbl in more similar to PA sound.will go to JBL..
Just had at home Sony XP500 and JBL Partybox 110. Which one is better? The answer is simple : JBL Partybox 110 sounds like an annoying, big piece of loud garbage. Sony XP500 - sounds like a luxury speaker with an amazing balance, bass etc. If you want loud annoying party music, buy Partybox 110. If you want to listen to the music, buy Sony XP 500. Btw, this is my first ever youtube comment, 100% honest. Just don't understand how anyone would prefer JBL Partybox 110, over Sony XP500. This is like driving an old annoying and loud car (JBL Partyboox) or a luxury new car (XP500).
Yeah I always prefered the JBL over Sony in youtube videos. Went to a store and tested them myself, Sony sounds SO much better (and the bass feels better as well) in real life.
I’ve had the 880 for a few months. It sounds really well. That is until it recently stopped charging. I tried calling Gemini support and I haven’t had any luck. I will not be purchasing their products.
I have listened live, both JBL and Sony speakers. JBL speakers are not as loud as Sony. Sony speakers are not as clear as JBL.. Choice is yours. Btw I own PB110. And it is fantastic. But some songs you would feel the bass is more than required( at home).
Just bought the xp700 love it, have you tried it vs 110? Kind of want 110 since more portable and maybe more bass but could be totally wrong on more bass part?
@@rachel7550 Nah just stay with the XP700. Or sell it and buy two PB100 for TWS. I have the 110 and it’s bass is too boomy imo. Tbh I usually listen to hip hop on my Philips 9200FWT which is an old ass system but it has that sweet deep bass. Heck even my pc’s Logitech G560 with the big subwoofer is less annoying than the 110’s bass. So yeah short answer would be a No, its not worth it. Believe me 👌🏻
@@MB2kbps just ordered it but will prob return it if I don’t love it lol. I do want a boomy bass just for working out .. but hard to justify cost if too annoying to listen to otherwise. I have a Sonos arc sound bar and sub in the living room and HomePod in the bedroom, Both of which I like alot. The 110 would prob be in garage. Thanks for the advice if I read this I prob wouldn’tve placed the order 😅 o well hard to deny curiosity lol
@@rachel7550 Hey dont worry about it, my friends and family said that the bass was amazing though so dont lose hope maybe its just me and my ears that dont like that boomy bass lol but I still use it everyday for outdoors because its very portable and mids and highs sound super crisp and clear. Rock music sounds great. You will love the light show thats a big upgrade over the Sony ones!

What does my head in is I watch all these great videos and I think great I’ll go buy one or two be fab for the garden then realise all this great speaker stuff coming out of American I can’t have cause I live in the U.K - let that be a lesson to me 🤣🤣🤣
@@ev0wat it's now widely coming out the truth about jbl, it is all bass nothing else, overwhelming bass, no quality, just bass, they give these speakers for free to reviewers hence no one telling the truth about it. Sony is better.

I have the BAFX Advanced SPL amzn.to/3a10GzB But I only use it when I'm really really trying to make a point about which one is louder. Not what I was going for in this video and most of the times I feel like I don't need it to tell which is louder so I rarely use it.

JBL party box 100 I want two. Anyhow what's up altec Lansing had a speaker called the expedition 8. Gemini sound handled the expedition line of speakers they have been discontinued Gemini has put out the sosp soundsplash in its place can I see a full review of this speaker thanks a lot
