Yeaaa i dislike cheat sheets like this, especially when they leave out big caveats that are common. Wbc being elevated means stress. It can potentially mean infection due to said stress. Better to actually know your pathophysiology than memorize a bunch of facts.

Is there any test to diagnose if a patient protein deficient or not?

There's a lot of types of proteins in the body, so you have to be a bit more specific. However, there's a test called TPAG (which stands for Total Protein, Albumin, and Globulin). This may help you, I guess? But again, tests need to be done with a patient's clinical vignette in mind. LFTs like ALT and ASTs are enzymes which are proteins as well. My point is, you have to be a bit more specific with what you're testing.

@@shubham943 i think the closest you can get is through a DEXA scan (or actually measuring muscle mass through an autopsy which... I don't think you're willing to do 😂) But kidding aside, I think DEXA is used for body composition tests, so it can be helpful for fitness reasons and establishing certain baselines. We dont have it in our humble hospital (at least I dont think we do), so Im not entirely sure how it works tho!
