I'm 35 years old. I have been A fan for a couple of months now one of your videos really helped when I was stuck on Avenger. I'm about to start my technician classes in March of this year. I know some moderate skills as far as vehicles go. Getting to the point. Do you think it is too late in life for someone my age and skills to get started as an auto technician? I would really value your Opinion. I know you will be honest. I Don't know if you have ever made a video discussing before. If so, haven't yet discovered it.
Amazing work I did this on my 2006 v6 Chrysler 300 replacing the fuel pump and camshaft sensor worked out, but the same thing happened again one month later I was wondering could it be timing chain or timing belt now ?
last couple days i been hearing a humming noise on my 2012 chrysler 300 while driving.i just tried to start it today and it's cranking good but not starting running and i tested the battery which is good
I remember the day I purchased my 300 and drove it home from nyc and when I reached the driveway, it cut off and wouldn’t turn on. I thought It was the fuel pump. It just ran out of gas. But the gas needle read 1/4th gas left. It was nostalgic seeing that 3.5 motor again
Good thing Hector I’ve been watching a couple of your videos. I’m working on a 2006 Chrysler300 . My fuel pump I believe is the problem. I try to do all the method that you recommended on your video. I change to put a new fuel pump in and it still didn’t work so I went back and did all the same testing that I seen you did in the video on the plug on top of the fuel pump ground is supposed to be lighten up?
Maybe you can help me. I have a 2011, 300c. The lightning bolt keeps coming back on. I've taken it to the dealership all 3x and it lasts anywhere from 6 to 8 months. Now it's back again. The code I. Getting is 7e8 and 7e9, NO P-codes. They said they did some wiring and also changed the oil cooler and throttle body Honestly, I hate to take to them again. Symptoms were limp mode,but this time it turns on,but won't turn over. Any suggestions I can have a new garage look at. I'm out already $3000+, for the same thing. I just want it fixed right. Thank you for any Info you may have!!!
amazing simple search method. when you tested the relay you had power in pin 30 and 85 but not in 87. but then you expected ground on 87 but there was no ground at battery pole change. instead it would be ground when cranking. my question: if you have power on pin 87 what does that mean? For the same car problem and same search method but not the same make car. very grateful if you answer me
hector my homie. solid diag procedure. so my question is more to pick your brain and different routes to go. say you sprayed that carbon cleaner in there and it still didn’t start, where would you go next to look?
@HomieHektor Thank you for this video! You saved me hours if not days of trying to figure this out. My wife was driving her 2010 Chrysler 300 5.7l and it was driving and running like normal but she stopped by the store on the way home and shut it off and went inside the store, when she came back out it wouldn’t start, it would crank over at first but would turn off shortly after and then after a while it wouldn’t start at all. It turns out one of the pins in the top of the fuel pump shorted out and was noticeably burnt. Luckily it didn’t catch on fire. I went down to my nearest mopar parts center and picked up an original fuel pump for $430, not sure if it was worth the extra money honestly. The new kit came with a new connector, I had to cut off the original jumper connector that plugs in to the fuel pump and wire in the new connector provided, I believe they upgraded the connector to avoid the shorting issue. I’m immensely thankful and will donate this Friday that’s coming up bro thank you! You’re the real deal. I wish it was easier to find your video when I was looking up the issue though I really had to dig.
My 2013 chrysler 300 5. 7 hemi cranks on first attempt with no starts then on second attempt it starts right up. I've replaced the fuel pump. What could be the cause of that ?
Hey carnal good video brother. I have a 2016 chrysler 300. If i don't use it for a few hours or overnight, and try to start the car, it will crank but wont start. But if i open the key for 3 seconds before starting, it will start instantly. Seems like the feeding of gas to the engine is delayed. Do you know what could it be?
Many things, gotta check fuel pressure. I would also check for codes, it can also be a sensor going out. Need to find out what’s missing at the time of the no start condition 🤝

On the top of the Brake Diapham on the Firewall is a Ceramic Rectangular Block with 2 wires coming out of it . That block gets wet and shorts out internally and will not allow the car or truck to start!
1/16/23 -11:15am What's up homie I came across your RU-vid page I have a 2013 Chrysler 300 3.6L and in the morning when I get into the car it just turns over I stop I press the brake hit the button again start it it starts up it runs fine no problem once it's running I could shut it off for a couple hours get back in there same thing it cranks and cranks and cranks and cranks I stopped trying to turn it over try starting again fires up no problem continues running I'm located at Victorville California maybe about 30 minutes 35 minutes away from from Fontana where about you located homie and what would you charge to take a look at my ride and tell me what you think is going on with it I'd appreciate some feedback have a good one homie stay safe and happy New years
I’m having same exact sound with my 2012 charger 3.6 I did the throttle body, neutral safety switch, and jus finished fuel pumps still no good I haven’t check the relay or fuse yet what do u suggest bro
My pump stays on constant in run position and still no start sometimes it'll turn off after 3 sec and run for 6 sec and die and won't start again but pump stays on
I'm in Fontana on a crank no start found your video. Unfortunately the fuel pump in this 300 is good. in your video the engine sounds normal my customers sounds labored when cranking
Hey bro I have a 2013 300 it won’t crank it does the same thing we changed out the pump and the catalytics and the pvc valve we are stumped we can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong and nothing comes out in the computer
I have a 300 v6 3.5 I am guess one day and when I put gas back in and we can store it with the key it’s no cream you store it was key ignition will not turn over I turn key over to this is the wrong position and it turns on the will not crank start losing red dot light into my fuel in speedometer gauge that will not go off call stood up about three or four times for three seconds or so and then killed back out trying to figure out what this is please let me know if anybody has a solution I think it may be kidneys be reprogram to vehicle something happened to me my change the battery on key from keep up his only key I have let me know please
@@MrTraww23 What’s the voltage at the battery? What’s the voltage when you try to crank it? Is the Voltage making it down to the starter? We gotta start testing some circuits 👍🏼
