Historical matchmaking would be Sharman vs Panzer 4s, with a single Tiger or Panther thrown in the mix (with a much higher SP cost for example). An army of Tigers fighting Shermans is not historical, stop using this bad argment
@@KekusMagnus The Germans weren't as careless with their tank division arrangements as freeaboos like to think. There were not just random tigers tacked on to every seventeenth panzer iv platoon. Tigers were either part of the larger panzer divisions, or were assigned to smaller independent heavy tank battalions, that could move to wherever they were needed and support divisions. They also travelled in platoons, not a platoon of four 38 ts and a tiger, but actual complete platoons of tigers. There also were not tigers just sitting in fields like the film Fury. So yes, twenty tigers at a time would be historical. However, the chance of having a 16 tiger vs 16 sherman match would be almost nothing, because Americans almost never saw tiger Is. Historical matchmaking would be most games panzer ivs (j and h variants), and maybe a platoon of panther gs vs mixes of 75 and 76 shermans.
The armor pen values are realistic on paper. But it doesn’t really factor in that when engagements with heavy tanks happened back then it was basically knife range. For the United States. A 75 or 76 within a couple hundred yards would own a tiger. Especially with the bad steel these late to mid war tanks were built with.
Advice for anyone trying this Just take the m24 Chaffee ,same gun , same 50. Cal, armor is just as effective( which means not at all) plus good reverse, better stabilizer and scouting I take to 6.0 all the time

Sherman tanks weren’t designed to go 1v1 against Tigers. They were designed around a top tier engine and were highly mobile, reliable, easy to use, easy to manufacture, easy to maintain, were upgradable, used top tier ammo.
I see a ton of potential with your videos, I do notice that your editing style is very similar to Dollarplays, I recommend you try to do your own twist on his editing style so that people don't think you're blatantly copying him, but otherwise your content is enjoyable, could be improved in visual quality, but I understand if you can't afford any of the fancy equipment like the bigger gaming RU-vidrs or you simply don't have the storage to create HD videos, but I'm not saying you're doing bad with your videos, I'm just giving you some general ideas that you could improve with the style and quality of your videos
@5co756 Well, the panzer4 was the most common German tank in ww2 and was used heavily even at the end of the war. Fun fact, the main reason why the panther was developed was because the cost of the panzer4 was too high
@@SHEEPS_123 Pz4 F2 saw combat in 1942 , same as Tiger 1 . The M4 and the Pz4 are on the perfect historic BR , the problem is that the Tiger 1 is way too high in WT . It should be from 4.0 to 6.0 , but this would be way too unfair . It saw M3Lee , Matilda and Crusaders in North Africa , you can't do this in game .

as a japanese main i also do like you.i make historical japanese line up (chi ha kai. ho ni. ho i. so. ki. ha go. A6m5) all of these in a battle rating 5.0 and i getting 3-7 kills. but its to risky. 🙂
Edit: bro didn't knew about the cupola shot on the tiger 1 😭 Short 75mm sherman vs Tiger 1 is doable, vs a panther is a little more difficult, vs the german heavy casemates is really hard, vs a tiger II if you win you're a legend.

I tried this and it was not that painful. I played the M4A2 and the Chffee both. I played the m4 as if I was a jumbo as far as aiming went and tried to not engage my best performance was 5 kills mainly king tigers being idiotic. Chaffee of course best light tank 8 kill though it was not a full upteir unlike most of the m4 games.
Your historical matchmaker is nonsense. The M4 Sherman went into service in 1942. The pz4h (the long barreled pz4), didn’t even go into production until June of 1943. The majority of the tanks the m4 fought were pz3s and pz4s. In Europe, the US encountered tiger 1s a total of 3 times. If you want historical accuracy, you must argue for allied air superiority of course. Virtually no close air support should be available for Germany in ground battles. And I’m sure you also want the historical accurate reliability of German tanks modeled in game as well, right? It would be funny watching panthers burn out at the start of a match or most of the tigers and panthers being broken down and unusable at the start of a match. Because you want historical matchmaking, right? I’m sure you want to be fighting m4s with nothing but pz3s and short barreled pz4s, right? Edit: I forgot, I’m sure you want the historically accurate match maker on maps like Normandy. US mains are allowed to spawn BBs like the USS Texas and engage in shore bombardment with 14 inch HE shells. That is historically accurate.
