"The tutorial is too fast!" - yeah, I'd like to apologize for that, but that's likely gonna happen to the next episodes of this series. In the agreement I had with Live2D Inc., the time for each video would be around 10-15mins long only, and with the amount of information I try to squeeze and fit in, it's likely for the pacing to be a little too fast. However, you can always pause the video if you think the speed is quite fast! :DD
Timestamps: 0:00 - Intro 0:19 - Reminders! 1:13 - Importing the PSD Model in Live 2D 2:00 - Organize your layout 2:43 - Setting up the model and parameters 3:44 - Rigging brows 7:25 - Rigging the eyes 10:48 - Rigging the mouth 11:06 - Hair rigging 12:45 - Model Progress 13:15 - Outro - My few key takeaways: 1. The tutorial might be too fast for some people! And that's fine, you can pause or afaik, siege has old long tutorials (such as hair rigging, eyes, etc) it's really long, but if you like slow pace you can use those. They might be outdated though, so you can still refer to this video from time to time!! 2. Use the tools in Live2d, they're your life saver especially if you're on a time crunch or you don't really have that much time and you make rigs in your free time or basically just makes things easier lol. 3. Use references especially in the mouth rig, as someone who struggled a lot in the mouth rig, use reference!! Life saver!! 😭 4. LABELS, VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT! Also organization, I promise you it will help you a lot. Another note... Double check it, because I've went insane trying to understand why my left brow was moving when I'm using the right brow parameter... 😭 This is genuinely useful for those who want their model to move really great, like has super movement like those vtuber models! It's also helpful for anyone else :) 5. These are just the basics! So you can edit/modify your model/rig however you want! For example you want the eyes to have here an expressive look, you can experiement for how you like your rig to be! 6. Take things slow! If you're a beginner don't rush yourself knowing everything and trying to do amazing rigs because it will overwhelm you. Take your time learning live2D and start implementing what you've learned from siege or other content creators tutorials. :) - Anyways, thank u sm siege for this!! I've actually learned a few more tricks from you due to this tutorial hehe (≧▽≦)
Thank you so much Siege, i have been waiting for you to make a new Tutorial Video, this helped so much (I clicked faster than the speed of light when i saw this video) keep up the great work, hopefully this will help me Animate and Rig a model! (OC) stay safe Ate Siege!✨✨❤❤ And happy pride month🏳🌈🏳🌈
I already knew how to do this but thanks to you. I could do it way better now than I used to and I can also do the face way better than I used to Thank you so much Siege. I love you💙🤍 can’t wait for AMR 4 Also God Bless✝️🙏😇
I have been struggling with the physics window since im a fifth grader who doesn't know a word about physics (man i wish i could just learn physics in fifth grade) and I've been searching all over every single browser ive got on how to understand it not even a single one is explaining in an understandable way its like they're speaking in another language 😔 my only hope right now is to ask you for a tutorial for that because without physics my character looks idk emotionless? 😭 it just looks like a 3 year old went on their mother's pc and played on it and you're good at explaining so could you make one about physics? (Im really talkative and i never shut up 😃)
OMG I JUST REMEMBERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VIVIANS BDAY IS IN 10 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!! I REMEMBER SIEGE SAYING IT IN A LIVESTREAM A WHILE AGO Edit: OMG VIVIAN'S BIRTHDAY IS IN 5 DAYS!
I normally get so completely lost when watching these Live2d tutorials, either because people don't explain correctly, or the videos is so fricking long, but this one got almost everything very specific and very clear, sure I didn't understand fully of it, but at least the most important parts I understood a little bit lol too bad I'm poor and can't afford Live2d Pro to try but still very good.
I wonder how you have such a good quality. When I import my model it looks great but when I zoom in or try anything, it's just.. too pixelated and the image quality is bad. Does anyone know how I could fix this?
I want my animations to be very smooth and I adore your and Rosy’s animations so much, they’re smooth and look always incredible, and I think hair plays a huge part on that
Take a look at the deformed hierarchy and make sure you’ve selected only the deformer, and not the parts! I’ve made a quick short about that error, you can find that in the playlist I’ve linked in the description :))
Hi, I have a question about the parameter settings file that you provided. When I tried to import it into Live2D, a pop-up states that it "Couldn't perform it because the contents of the CSV are incorrect," and then nothing happens in my Live2D (there are no parameters). Could you please tell me why this happens and how to fix it? Thank you!
There should be a dialogue that pops up before the part where you select the file. Make sure to check the “delete existing parameters” (somewhere along those lines) box so you can apply it ^^
@@SiegeYT_ I checked the box to delete the parameters, but it still says the same thing. Is there anything else I can do? I appreciate the reply though!
This is so interesting..to think of editing like that would've made me bleed myself out..Also just wondering..where'd you learn how to do those things?? _Cause obviously I can never find the courage to do that, but maybe I'll try...That's on PC right..I'm using laptop so is it compatible, can I download or install it here, smth like that?? THX for this video, it has been useful to us!!❤❤
@@死去 pc [from my knowledge] is a computer, so u could say that a laptop is uhmmm..i don't remember the word but let's say transferrable and the computer consists of a lot ofthings seperated unlike laptop that just folds.
Seige don't wanna sound rude but because you make so many videos the amr videos are hard to find and you haven't added the official episode 3 to the playlist of amr episodes other then that loving the videos 👍
I loved the tutorial thanks alot ❤❤ can I ask what is live2d version you use ? and how do you link parameters like what you did in the eyeball when it look upward ?
@@SiegeYT_ I am so sorry for disturbing you but I think you understand me wrong I mean you make the lashes go up when the eyeball look up to make it realistic how you did that ?
Thanks for the first episode Siege! Well still not yet at that level because I'm trying to be a gachatuber (currently yeah but due to lack of motivation, writing the new book, practicing with lighting, its hard to schedule it.). Also, does rigging takes days, months or even years to do one singular scene?
