My hamster passed away yesterday, she was 2 and a half and was my little cutie. I'm terribly sad... but your video made me feel a bit better because Kashi is so cute. ❤ Happy New year.

Hello! Merry Christmas! If you remember the conversation we had on your other channel about photography, I would like to have you know that this year I got my first real camera! I got a Nikon d5600! Also thank you so much for helping me learn from my past hamster mistakes. This year I upgraded my little dwarf from a crittertrail to an 120 qt bin cage. I also got my first syrian this year. He is a white long haired male who is housed in a 40 gallon breeder tank. Your channel and others have helped me so much this past year from when I was misinformed about hamster care to when I was just sad and needed cheering up. Thank you again, and a happy new year! Omg it’s almost been a year since her adoption! It went by so fast. I hope you and kashi had a wonderful Christmas!!!

I also hope you had a very good holiday and I can't believe how fast time goes by. Kashi will be one year soon but it seems you recently adopted the cutie. My surprise is Trixie is still alive and actively eating and drinking. She has but a 1/4 of her Detolf because her difficulty walking. I never thought she would live this old. I adopted her the 23 of June 2016 and thought dwarf hamsters didn't live past 2.5 yrs. I guess my Trixie is an exception. Completely baffled 🐹

HoppingHammy i have a question. I treated my last hamster very well, fed her with a good mix, gave her occasional fruits and veggies, played with her, and she had a large cage. But for some reason she only lived 9 months. Is this normal? Or did i do something wrong? :(

You have always made my day and have saved all of my hamsters from living cruel lives. You are always so kind and cheerful and I loooooove watching your videos. You have the most amazing cage themes in the world. I have this joke called " If I become rich and famous" Where I say that and assign people to do stuff they are good at. Such as " You will be my personal french braid person" , or You will be my personal cook or bed maker. It is a joke, because the chance off me becoming rich and famous is 0.000000000000000000001 percent. You will be my personal hamster person, and make all of my cage themes. I got my hamster from a local pet store not Pedro or pet smart, they told me he was a boy (winter white dwarf hamster) but when I flipped him over I didn’t see he’s scent glands but also didn’t see any nipples, I’m wondering if anyone could tell me if he was a boy or a girl, anyone please help thank you !!

I first got a hamster 4 years ago and I commented on your Facebook post a long time ago back when you still had Strudel(sorry if I spelt that wrong!) saying that my first hamster Fluffy had died after 2 years and you kindly wished me the best and it made my day. I recently have been deciding whether not to get another hamster after a few years. You’ve given me so inspiration and so much knowledge about these little hamsters and I hope you’re year was great!
