Hey guys, the time has come for me to make this sad announcement, but what a wonderful hamster that Kashi was. She brought so much joy and happiness to me and to everyone who knew her. I could not have asked for a better hamster to adopt, to cherish, and to care for. She was totally meant to be. Thank you guys for following her life and for celebrating it with me. Kashi will be very missed! 🐹💗 If you ever have Kashi withdrawls, you can look back on all of the cute videos with her, as well as the photos that have been shared. She was such a cutie and I especially miss her adorable face and little bent ear. 💕

No 😭😭 I remember right when Kashi was introduced... feels like a week ago. I've been here for years now, ever since my cousin got her hamster and honestly each time one of these videos came up in my feed I had to mourn for teeny tiny rodents I felt so attached to. Rest in peace, Kashi. You lived a great life.

Beautiful tribute. I just lost my Sweet Pea October 6th. She was a DJ Hamster and only lived for 1.7 years. I adored her. She was my first hamster and I watched your videos and learned so much on how to create a beautiful habitat and how to take care of her. Thank you for all your videos and advise.

Just remember when it gets hard, that you gave Kashi such a wonderful, exciting, fun, life. Filled with lots and lots of love, and treats, and adventures! Remind yourself that it could've been a hamster someone took home to a tiny cage with no room and the wrong toys and stuff, and you got her and filled her life with more excitement than a lot of hammies get! She loved you for sure! And we all enjoyed watching her doddle around her habitats. Thank you for sharing this intimate moment with us because I know it wasn't easy.

Awww!!!! I have lost 2 hamsters. My first hamster I thankfully had for over two years. My second hamster died when he was only a few months old. His intestines actually fell out of his body. The vet said with all the breeding from pet stores, there are bad genes passed on which contribute to these problems. I paid for the surgery to fix him up, but he died within 24 hours. Very sad. I still haven't moved on. I held him in my hands for his last 8 hours to keep him warm and as he took his last breaths. RIP to all the innocent little hams.

Last year we had 2 that passed of old age within months of each other....luckily we were able to hold them during their last breaths as well & that was such a blessing for us....to stroke, kiss & love on them in that way ♥️✨💞🐹

HH, to take up residence with you is I guess like being a lottery winner in the hamster world. Not too shabby when you think of it like that! I truly feel the loss too. Your videos of Kashi were a cherished addition to my regular youtube visits. She seemed to be a really happy hamster in your care (not surprisingly, ha).Kashi, was a joy to watch. And I think there are at least a few hundred others (probably lots more) that share this sentiment today. RIP Kashi...the rainbow bridge has a fluffy, cozy bedding shack waiting for you!

This brought memories of my little girl Honey who looked just like Kashi and left almost a year ago. I am sure she plays now in Hamster Heaven with her brother Hannibal, Kashi and all other hamsters... jumping and hiding in cotton candy clouds over the 🌈 So is your baby watching over you and smiling for all the good life and joy you shared together. 💖🐹💖🌈

I'm so sorry HH. Finding your videos right around the time you adopted Kashi was what inspired me to get my own ham for the first time in many many years. I ended up adopting a cream Syrian just like her, Rosie, and she's still bringing me joy every day. I sincerely hope you feel better soon and I know you'll take the time you need until your heart is healed enough to bring a new ham into your life. Hearing the emotion in your voice and seeing Kashi drawn as a little angel made me tear up, and all the memories of Kashi have tears rolling down my face. Thank you for helping us say good-bye to her and for being such an amazing hamster mom and role model.
