I sometimes wonder if some chemical sunscreens have a light pigment added for application purposes. As annoying as casts can be, they allow us to see what we’ve missed. A sunscreen with a cast that dissipates sounds perfectly useful to me! Hope your surgery went well!
I have dry skin, don’t wear foundation- just SPF. Sadly Haru Haru wasn’t it -even being great price/ moisturizing. Feels heavy which should be great for dry skin but felt suffocating with hotter temps and reapplying. It pilled upon multiple applications and stung to boot. Still searching :( I think I need to do EU chemical but so spendy
European sunscreens will end up burning your eyes even more. They offer higher UVA protection which requires the formulas to use even higher percentages of chemical UV filters than Asian sunscreens. You might be better off by maybe applying a mineral sunscreen around your eyes or perhaps using a sunscreen lip balm around your eyes to prevent chemical sunscreen from migrating into your eyes throughout the day, acting as a buffer.
Loved the Haruharu yellow tube. I bought a few more when it was on sale :) It is so easy to spread, like butter, and the least shiny/dewy compared to others, yet still very moisturizing for my dry skin. I have very sensitive eyes to chemical sunscreens, and it is the least eye irritating for me as well, compared to other Korean sunscreens.
I love the Haruharu sunscreens. I think the trick to prevent pilling to layer a silicone based moisturizer under it, it probably doesn't like too much oil underneath. I do this and it acts like a makeup primer for me almost, my skin looks so smooth!
Nice video! First time viewer. Just an idea for future similar videos: it would be great if you would show footage of you trying the sunscreen you talk about. I know it’s extra work, so it might not be feasible, but it really helps to highlight what you’re describing, for example white cast or shine. Keep up the good work!

Just a little update… my favorite sunscreen during the winter was the other beauty of Joseon sunscreen, I noticed it being too dewy once summer hit, so I finally tried the huruharu moisture airlift and wow! My New Holy grail for sure! You described this sunscreen very well in this video! I have combo skin, I use retin an and am oily in my t zone… it helps my t zone from getting super oily during the day, but also keeps my face moisturized, its wonderful over my skincare and great under makeup… no pilling and I don’t need a moisturizer under this… I only put one around my eyes… also, I’m sorry that u have to feel so careful of offending anyone with your honest review! Personally I truly appreciate your honesty, we absolutely need reviewers we can trust! So thank you!🙏

I can only do mineral sunscreen and just tried the new Fenty tinted sunscreen but it’s too glowy so I have to put matte foundation and powder on top otherwise my oily skin would just hate it
