Fani Willis is the district attorney of Fulton County, Georgia, which contains most of Atlanta, serving since 2021. Willis investigated the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, which resulted in indictments against Donald Trump and 18 alleged co-conspirators on charges of racketeering and other crimes. A February 2024 court filing in the case revealed that Willis was in a personal relationship with Nathan Wade - the lawyer whom Willis appointed in November 2021 to lead the prosecution - according to an affidavit by Wade. The filing was made in response to an allegation of a conflict of interest and improper romantic relationship from a defendant in the racketeering case, which Willis has denied. According to the filing, Willis and Wade began their relationship in 2022, after Wade's hiring.

I will watch this from the start again, but I understand that women have read this as being truthful and men have read it in reverse. She was clearly furious. It would have been better if she was not as emotional, but she was furious. Unless they can prove anything else, I think most women and blacks will be very angry if she is disqualified for this case.

You must also realize that they were friends before they started a romantic relationship. I imagine it was a slow transition and probably difficult to pinpoint. Just remember that she is an atty and she has been trained to quality and quantify carefully. Remembering in 2024 her vacations in 2022 - I would need to think about that. I hear what you are observing, but I still think you guys are off-base. I also think you are not getting the black cultural situation. I hope you four listened to her father's testimony.

Think of the effort she made to get where she is as a black woman. And this is the case of a lifetime for her. I assume she is working 12-hour days on a regular basis. And then this problem is laid on top of that schedule where she built a highly complicated case . I think Greg's nuance is far more accurate. She is correctly replying when asked about "the apartment/condo" where/when. Because of death threats, she needed to move apartments/condos more than once. Sadly you are seeing the judge's lack of experience here because he is not controlling the courtroom as well as he should have.

Every time she answer the question Miss Ashley tried to play dumb and ask the same thing over again, even the judge had to correct her on that several times! that was not a good tactic! @tamimarler I have been on the stand a few times, and have watched many others on the stand as an observer. There are not different rules of conduct according to ethnicity. A judge will not tolerate a witness calling an attorney a liar, rambling on with speeches in response to clear, simple, yes/no questions, and wavng documents in both hands while yelling.

As for the judge, if he had any integrity whatsoever, he should have recused himself for NOT disclosing contributions he and his wife made to Fani's campaign. Further, he should have also disclosed that he worked under her prior to becoming a judge. The mere appearance of impropriety is sufficient reason to disqualify this judge.

I get you live in Atlanta so can’t be burning bridges but this is one of the clearest cases of deceptive body language (and deceptive, obfuscating verbal language) I’ve seen. The first lawyer to question her is the one who found out and exposed her affair with Wade which is why Fani is so hostile to her. It may have come from a political cartoon that she tweeted that depicted Willis on a "fishing expedition," pulling in a fish version of U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., into her boat. I have a hard time believing she's ever been in court. One thing sociopaths do often is try to overload you with information and details so you don't ask again. Even in civil court lawyers will tell you off the bat is 1. Try to keep answers to yes/no or as short as possible. 2. Never offer info you aren't asked directly about because you will hurt yourself without knowing. 3. Don't argue She also admitted(somewhere in there) to putting money from her campaign in her house which isn't legal. All she did was make herself look like an entitled, bitter, man hater.

I was yelling at the tv like fans during the Super Bowl (or me watching the Iowa/Ohio State women's BBall game on Sunday. What should be mentioned guys is that the day this occurred she was out in the hall listening to testimony which you cannot do. She got mad and came in the courtroom because she heard testimony that she didn’t like and she came in with an attitude and said I’m ready to be called even though she is subpoenaed, but not to be called that day. So she was doing something. She wasn’t supposed to do stand out in the hall and listen to other peoples testimony being a retired police officer I know that you can’t do it because in all of the murder trials I was involved in they would not allow me in the courtroom at the same time as other officers, so that we could not hear each other’s testimony, and adjust it accordingly. The important thing is they caught her doing that. I can’t believe it’s not being talked about more.

Just so you're clear, Fani Willis, the District Attorney of Fulton County, GA hired Nathaniel Wade as a special prosecutor to prosecute a case against former President Trump. Wade and Willis were in a romantic relationship before she hired Wade as a SP and paid him over 650K. She and he are arguing that they didn't start seeing each other until 2022 after she'd hired Wade. Wade's law partner stated that they started before she was elected District Attorney. Willis' former friend also stated they started dating in 2019 or so. They're caught and trying to lie their way out because they face perjury charges, disbarment, violation of oath of office, etc.. Her whole career rests on this hearing... by the way, Wade has no experience as a RICO prosecutor as he is a personal injury lawyer.

She didn't even say that she doesn't know where it was from, would she have withdrawn it from her account? Does she regularly go to the bank and withdrawal large amounts periodically? Does someone else give her cash? Is it from another account or another person or campaign funds? She didn't speak to where she gets her cash at all, didn't even say that she couldn't, she just didn't say.

She is a victim of her own choices to behave in a way that would at least give the appearance of impropriety.
