You have done an outstanding service to the Scottish game by shining a light on the lower and non-league game. It tells how much teams mean to their respective communities that 500 show up on a winter Friday night in the rain and cold to cheer the two teams on. Thanks again for all you do.
Very well said. Sam shows an absolutely genuine interest in the game at every level. Scottish Junior/SJFA football (as it was before its integration into the SFA pyramid a few years ago) gets barely any coverage in the national press here in Scotland but is a hidden gem, and this channel deserves huge credit for giving a platform to this unique non-league setup with a long and fascinating history.

I used to live near Glasgow and I have memories of a team called Kilburnie Ladeside. I could be wrong but I thought they played @ Hampden in Cup Finals in the late 70's-early 80's and in front of big crowds back then. ie. 11,000. Kirkintilloch Rob Roy my local team played them. Rob Roy also played Chelsea and Rangers.
Square sausage, black pudding, mealy pudding, tattie scones and Scotch pies accompanied by Irn Bru etc...fond memories of living in Scotland 1971 to 1977 - Glasgow, then Cowdenbeath - and December, January and February evening games at a bloody cold Central Park. As an aside, does anyone remember Di Marco's ice cream parlour in Cowdenbeath on the road out to Lochgelly and a burger bar close to the railway bridge that I cannot remember the name of. My late teenage and early twenties years full of memories of Cowdenbeath, summer days spent at Loch Leven and Saturday nights out in Edinburgh - fabulous.
Would you consider a vlog on Torquay United? We are in peril and about to launch full scale versus the owner Clark Osborne. The man behind Bristol Rovers losing their original Stadium and many other broken promises to other sports venues and fans. We need as much exposure and support as we can muster to try to win this battle and save our club from being slowly destroyed, or not so slowly at present. There is a real story here to be told. They're not a few miles apart. Port Glasgow is joined to Greenock, and Greenock is joined to Gourock. Effectively it's one town that stretches along the coast, with a population of 70k between the three of them. The three together had 100k when I was a wee boy, but the shipyard closures have resulted in population collapse and demographic shift. Rather grim, if the truth be told.
