Gotta question though. Is it easy to split these large meals in your packs and cut in half or quarter? I need the ideas, the help, but just not cooking for a large family anymore
I love that you say they had a whole lot of carrying on and need some meals. Its not just when women have babies that they can use some extra support and no matter what is going on in their life, I'm sure this is making it easier to handle.
I continue to love your program. You'd think we might get tired of watching someone else cook but I guess we DON'T!!. Of course when you are out playing with the children(2 footed and 4), I think then that I like those best. You know Jamriell, hope I have spelled it correctly, I've been practicing saying it for weeks. May have my tongue around it by now. Years ago when I had such a difficult time in school and young, but I knew then that SOME people are just born that others like to hear speak, like to watch them, just natural leaders. Natural leaders, but natural good leaders are more sceras. That's you. Im glade to be watching all your doings. Fondly, mrsjob
Girl! I watch her videos every night and I’m single no kids. Idk why her voice is comforting to me. I go to sleep listening to her talk about meat, rice, handfuls of cheese, farm animals, and babies.
I’m a 64 year old (middle aged? Lol) U.K. lady on my own and love watching you. Realised a batch cook of one portions for the freezer is the way to go for me. Especially with a surgery coming up soon. You are a supper mom and an amazing human being. X
Love to see my favorite Momma's talking to each other..Lol. Jamerrill I meet Mrs. Amy because of you. Love you ladies God bless you both if it wasn't for you 2 things wouldn't be done. You two motivate me. 😊❤❤
I'm a mom of 6. 2 little ones 1 preteen and 3 teenagers...and I admire your positive energy so much. Your videos and the word of God are what keeps me sane. 🤗
I’m due with my 4th baby in less than a week and I’m so drained and starting to worry about motivation to cook after baby comes. I wish I had a mamma mate like you, what you do out of the kindness of your heart is pure love. Much love from Australia 💙
43 and 40 years ago when I had my beautiful sons nobody helped me, except my mama. She flew in from Texas. My mama treated me beautifully. She treated her grandson like royalty. I was so thankful to my mama. So at 67, I am the cook. I live in the country. Miles from each other but, I know my neighbors better than my kids who live in high risers. I am just an old southern cook.
Growing up, that’s all I knew, and nothing better. What I’d give to pull up a chair to Grannies table full of every meat, and home grown vegetables. She’d throw a table cloth over what was left, and we’d have it for supper. Don’t forget cornbread crumbled in buttermilk! Why didn’t we ever get sick from it not being in the fridge?
Yep. I'm good on chicken but the beef prices are really getting up there. Bought a side of beef from a local ranchers and bought some from another place to hold us over till the slaughter. Keeping me around $6 a pound for beef. Pork is something I can get close too. Although those prices are not bad.
@@rhiahlMT We did the same except we bought a half because five kids. We averaged $2.76 a pound, including hamburger, steaks, and roasts! It was amazing. If you call a meat processor, they can usually help you find a farmer that has some cattle coming to butcher soon. If they don't, they can keep your name on a list. Shop your local farmers.
Right! My local butcher shop has amazing meat package bundles for a good price and if you say you have a large family they add little extra for a small extra amount. Also we have a meat processing place about 1hr drive that has meat decently priced! Always ask around or just google. You never know what's around
I just want to say thank you , I found you over a year ago now and I finally got inspired to batch cook freezer meals just before lockdown here in the uk and I've been working non stop it's been amazing to come home and just throw something in the oven or slow cooker ♥️ so thank you for making this tough time just that little bit easier xxxx
Single nest Gramma now but love all your videos and you inspired me to dust off my old canning supplies, restock and invested in a pressure canner for meat! This crisis has opened a lot of eyes! Thanks for everything!
Mmmmm Jamerrill's Fried Rice!!! I love your Garden, Animal, Swimming Pool videos just as much as your Big Batch Freezer Meal cooking videos. You are just a fun person to spend time with. A great personality. I wish their were a "Bazillion" more like you!
I get so inspired by your cooking and shopping-videos that I have started going to friends houses, cooking freezer meals for them from what I find in their freezers and pantrys and making monthly plans just because I live by myself and want to cook a bunch of food as well 🤣😁
Jaymerill, I just love you! Your heart, your spirit, your positivity are just GOOD. I I found your channel about a year ago, while recovering from a car accident and you have truly been a bright light in my life I just want to say thank you so much. Keep being awesome!💕
Jamerrill, will you adopt me and teach me the ways of being able to cook like this? I’m a family of four but my goodness I can’t find the time or the space to do these kinds of meal preps. But I neeeeeeeeeeeeed! 😭
Jamerrill, you are such a good heart and been blessed with energy to do so much and always reaching out to help others as needed! You are truly a blessing to so so many. All the meals look just so delicious. I am anxious to try a lot of your recipes. They all look just delicious. I like to cook some ahead even tho we are empty nesters now I still have the freezer capability and it lets me up to spend more time outside doing projects and work on the yard/flowers more. I love your energy level. :-) I used to have that and now that I find myself slowing down I am not liking it too well! LOL I just wanted to drop a note and thank you for all you do and your goodness to your fellow people. You are just a blessing! Stay healthy!
What a wonderful ball of energy you are 😃 I don’t have a need to do this many prep meals but I do love watching your enthusiasm and down to earth attitude. No fakeness, pure energy. Gotta love that ❤️💜💚💙
Oh my goodness! That mixing bowl is HUGE! lol You could sit in it and take a bath! You are storing up all kinds of treasures in Heaven with your big generous heart! God bless you!
@@JamerrillStewart One of my favorite parts of cooking is chopping veggies. At Thanksgiving I help with all the onion and celery for all the meals for my Mother, Aunt, and Grandma. The key is a great knife!
Mrs. Stewart, I am impressed. All of those kids, helping out cooking for other families, and all the stuff you do. I think if wife/ mother of the year was on the ballot, you would get my vote.
Freezer meal ham, cheese & potato bake was a winner here! I had to amend it a bit for Australian groceries (no potato hash here) but my family loves it. I made a couple for a friend after her first baby and she asked me for the recipe her & her hubby loved it so much.
This is so satisfying to watch. I do a large batch cook in the fall so I can avoid going to the store during our hard winters, and then smaller batches a couple of times during the year. Watching you, I realized using a white board will make it easier not only to keep track of everything, but write down the adjustments that usually happen along the way. Yay - I get to shop!
It's like you knew exactly what I was looking for 🤣. Wer pregnant with #5, and even tho baby isnt due until dec I have been looking up some freezer meals. Half of our family of 6 is gluten sensitive, so this is absolutely perfect. Thanks so much 🙂
With all the craziness in the world I’m so thankful to watch your videos, your an angel serving all these people. I love the friendly loving attitude you have! 🥰
girl your something else! I so appreciate your love for others, giving of your time and resources, we know as Christians that we’re suppose to give with a loving heart and you certainly do. Your children have a wonderful. mama as well, you rock my friend!
Jammerrill, I was JUST getting ready to email you about this very thing! I've purchased the GF freezer meal pack and was trying to decided if I should get another/which one I should choose for pre baby prep. I am 26 weeks with baby number three, full on homesteading for the first time (chickens, garden, got our Great Pyrenees LGD in place), and my second deep freezer is on it's way to my house 😍 This is JUST what I needed. We are so on the same wavelength, its wild!
@@JamerrillStewart sheesh, me too! We will be harvesting our fall crops right around delivery so it should be interesting! I had planned to can as much as possible but with the way I've been feeling already, I purchased a vacuum sealer and the second (upright) freezer to make things a bit easier. Hopefully we will prevent wasting all of our hard work this summer! ❤ My worst fear is that we get it all grown and then can't preserve it.
Ask for help from friends. They can come help you can/freeze. Some may even offer to do it for you. I hope that you get it all done. Congratulations on that new baby!
I never thought the box of plastic wrap would run out. It has lasted a long time. I actually want a box to help with the freezer meals I do. I am making some meals for my parents as they are older and having trouble getting around and of course for my own little family of 3. I make your fried rice, baked spaghetti, pizza casserole, and your fantastic blueberry bread. My parents absolutely love your bread. My mom was sick earlier this month and was barely eating. I brought her some blueberry bread and that triggered her appetite. She is now eating again. My husband requested I make your blueberry bread but make it banana bread. He loved it. You have been a big part of my cooking for my family. Thank you.
I was having a tough day and watching your videos just brings me so much joy. The love you bring into the world is astounding. You are truly touched by God! Also, agreed with other commenters, those headbands are so so cute on you!! Love ya always!
You are such a good friend!! I need a friend like you and I want to become a friend like you to those in my life. This really encourages me to find ways to bless others.
I have dietary restrictions that the rest of my family doesn't have so I make a bunch of one person meals that I keep in the freezer for when I'm making something for them I can't have. It works so well. I got a bunch of glass baking dishes (no microwave here) off of Amazon for a good price. I keep 10-20 on hand and cook them once every month to every other month.
You are an amazing friend to these families. You are so understanding of their food needs. As a person with way too many food issues, it is great to see people that care about people like me.
Your little messes make me feel sooo much better because I guess my house isn’t the only one !! I mean do we really have to gave a clean house all the time lol. Do I spend my time cleaning and cleaning or make memories with my babies. Advice ?!!! Hugs janet
Clarksville, TN sends lots of love💜💜💜... just me and the hubby now as my 3 kids have all left as of this year... 18 years old birthday today and she graduated at Christmas 2019... I still use your methods to fill my freezer...
You are such a nice person !!! With a full house and farm ... you still take your precious time to bless others ... I hope the crazies that say stuff about unpacking, think twice now.
I think it's wonderful that your making the meals for a friend just after they had a baby, I'm sure that will be a big help to her family. In my church we can do whatever charity work we want to , our church doesn't have a Food Pantry. I've been to so many churches that do a great deal of community service. Do your children ever help you in the kitchen? I started to cook with mom at 12. Why did you and your husband decide to have a large family? I was planning on having 4 2 girls and 2 boys. Ended up I didn't have any. God bless you and your family.
You, so inspire this mama! I’ve been watching you here on RU-vid for about six months now, maybe a little longer. There is only one of me at home, compared to your crew. These mama’s out there that are like holy cow, that’s a lot of food. Make a big batch and divide it into smaller portions for your size family. I started your meals back in January and February. GUESS WHAT???? When Coronavirus hit.......I was GOOOOD TO GO.❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you for all that you share❣️❣️❣️ this mama sure does appreciate you!!!
Im from Queensland, Australia but can’t go to sleep if I know a video is out. Jamerrill is a wonder, such a good heart and calming voice. Just love this momma and channel❤️
I love how you show what life of a busy momma really is. Dirty dishes in the sink but gotta get dinner started no problem just start dinner and clean as you go. So many youtubers just don't show real life. Thanks and blessings to you.
My 4 month old’s Irish Twin will be here early next year so these will definitely be on my list of freezer meals to make when the time gets closer. Thank you for always sharing your wisdom with us Ms. Jamerrill 💙💙💙
I love these large family meals you do. I have no children at home but just love watching you cook all of this food for families in need and your wonderful family!
This may have been asked and answered but I usually watch you on my TV and don’t make it to the comments here very often. You’re so much fun to watch! Can you please share the paint color on your walls? It’s so pretty and is what I’ve been wanting for my living room. 😊
I'm so so happy for you and your new big, beautiful kitchen but I have to admit I'm a bit nostalgic about watching you cook big giant freezer meals in the little kitchen. It always inspired me that if you could do it with your 1960s stove burners and limited counter space, I can too. 😊❤
I make meals like my 6 kids were still home, only it is just me.I'm 74 this Nov 22 and i cook whatever I like using restaurant pans. After it is cooked, i divide it in my size and freeze.A couple years ago i had 6 heartattacks, one right around Christmas and Feb 28 had1, the next day I had 4. I'm still not the greatest but im here.it's along story.I still have a 95% blockage but I'll get to it.I love to watch your show.
This is super random, but I really love your "It is Well" sign where your sink is! IDK about you, but I feel like dishes are like taking a shower I think about everything ever that needs to be done or all the things that are going on. That sign is a nice reminder to have sitting there!
I do enjoy watching you cook but my favourite is you doing your homestead garden and animals you have such a lovely lifestyle thank you for sharing take care love from UK
I'm the same way about peppers and onions, so I use carrots, corn and peas to replace peppers and garlic or spring onion to replace the onion. They're the same colour and similarish texture.
You look great with the headband and looks like you lost some weight. The video was great and so very nice of you to make those meals for your friends!
You are such a nice friend. I will never forget my sister in law bringing me homemade muffins after I gave birth to my daughter. Food is so appreciated! ❤️
I'm starting to plan my post partum freezer and stumbled on this video... WHAT A BLESSING! Thank you so much for taking the time to share how you get it all done. I have always purchased in bulk but bulk cooking has never been what I can get done, you make it look achievable so I'm going to give it a go. X
Lady bug I love watching you in the kitchen or outside working on the farm. Enjoy watching you and your family. Love when you share reading the Bible. You're Q&A. Just you. God bless you and your family
I have needed a good cry for awhile now. And I just haven't give in. Well believe it or not your potato washin music did it. That was my mama's jam and I could hear her doin her jig and sayin "shake your tail feather baby girl"! Thanks just what I needed! Blessings, always!!
I have one of those giant bowls. I LOVE it I use it for many things. Its summer you should nt have to cook so much in the house. Years ago I had a huge family and have cooked for holidays but every day has to be exhausting. At least if you can freeze alot like you do. I know you can only eat so much hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill..your amazing. Oh I hope you get unpacked I have been there with that and you wounder it sat in a bin for so long do I need this? Yes..kind of like Christmas. Thankyou for sharing you have a heart of gold helping people when your plate is overflowing.
Also.... fyi if making food for dietary needs..... check any spices.... not all are gluten free.... also make the allergy free meals first so you dont risk contaminating them.... even touching a flour tortilla before touching a gluten free tortilla can trigger a reaction if you accidentally forget to wash your hands in between. My family are really REALLY sensitive so I have to buy whole spices and make our spice blends ourselves. However you are an awesome amazing person helping out these families.
thought you had your birds in the window...nope. seeing all the meals makes me kinda wish i had more children than 4. only for the cookin'...four was my limit emotionally, mentally and physically...and financially. if one more had come , it would have been another blessing. you have a most gracious and loving heart. Blessings.
I just have to say I absolutely love your spirit. You are so thoughtful for making your friends those meals. I have a little one coming in less than a week and had planned on getting meals together. Unfortunately it took us longer to get in our new home than we thought (been in it for a month now) and she decided she was coming sooner than we expected. I was able to stock up my pantry, fridge, and freezer so I'm sure we will be ok. Cant wait to see the second half of the video. God bless
I do love watching your videos, you are my 'go to' at night when its quiet in my house. Food always looks super yummy, and i love the stories about your animals
