In today's new freezer cooking vlog I prepare over 100+ freezer meals for my big family! Here are all of the freezer meal recipes bit.ly/FreezerMealsforBigFamilies During these freezer cooking days I did 40 large family dinners, 22 lunches, 44 breakfasts, and 22 lunches that spread over 6+ weeks. I did all those big freezer meals right before baby #8, Benjamin David was born. Let me tell you, it was a huge blessing to have a jam-packed freezer full of enough freezer meals for up to six weeks. Now I hear the hollering already, "Jamerrill, you can't eat only freezer meals!" Yes, yes. You can't only live off of freezer meals, and we don't. But when I have them, I use them and love 'em! If you can't-do anything other than getting a freezer meal into the oven, then you're a winner. If you want to cut up a bunch of fresh salad and steam garden vegetables to go along with your oven casseroles or slow cooker meals, go for it! You make freezer meals work for you! Here are all the freezer meal recipes again if you need them bit.ly/FreezerMealsforBigFamilies

Hey hon, I was just wondering how you get your kids to eat all of your dishes? The reason I ask is because… I really don’t like sour cream, ham, and also kielbasa, etc etc, but everyone eats everything in your house…how? What is your secret obi wan kenobi please tell me your Jedi mind trick LOL 🙏🙏🙏

I really appreciate how instead of shushing your playing children you instead acknowledge and redirect. That's an important skill some parents don't realize they should cultivate.

I'm the 20th child of my mothers 21 children. We were dirt poor and never had much luxury of meat in our dinners, but garden meals were abundant. I remember missing school to stay home for harvest and canning days. Crazy to think about now, but I love to garden and thankfully have my mothers skill for both gardening and canning. Meat is still a luxury ..... Thumbs up for large families and eating what you have available.

This is SO underrated, but I love how she also has hand-done English captions and not just the automatic English captions, which always tend to have mistakes! I’m not deaf or hard of hearing, but my mind and memory has been really bad recently from a few health issues, (I’m still a teen, so not age issues!) and having captions help my brain process what is happening more much easily. Thank you so much!

I've read that cilantro leaves will purge detox your body 80% so I load up on my tortilla soup with advocados too. I've also switched away from deodorant with aluminum in it. I bought 2 different Speed Stick deodorants at Dollar Tree and another Arm and Hammer Essentials at Dollar General. Look at the ingredients. There's one Arm and Hammer that has 19% so don't buy that one! Also don't drink drinks from cans. Aluminum goes thru the brain barrier. I had issues with memory and I had a benign brain tumor that was removed with a lazer radiation treatment. It's been almost 5 years now so it's gone. I hope you don't give up trying to get treated. Go ask different locations to help you figure out what's wrong?

@ChristaHiebertHiebertsDownHome
Before our youngest was born, I filled my freezer with two months worth of meals. It was such a blessing to just snuggle baby and not worry about food. These days, I just can't get motivated to work that far ahead. I think that "nesting instinct" helps get things done! These days I often just make double and freeze the second one for another time. Always enjoy your Vlogs!

i'm catching up on watching u in action, i do want to ask, have u ever skipped the cooking process of ur lasagne, shells or manicotti? I haven't precooked them for years now, such a time saver, especially when freezing ahead, i layer with 1-2 cups extra sauce on bottom of pan and on top saves me so much time and just 10-15 minutes of extra cooking if frozen the noodles dont get so mushy, just suggestion. love ur videos adore u and ur ambition

----You have a pot of rice, a pot of chicken, and a pot of frozen mixed veg. ( You cook each in soy sauce and then you dump it all in a large pot, but it is hard to mix everything together. So, you take half out and then you only mixes half at a time and then you dump it in equal parts into large, individual aluminum pans.) Just a suggestion... you have a pot of rice, a pot of chicken, and a pot of frozen mixed veg----using a 1-cup/ or 2-cup measuring cup, and divide it in the three large, individual aluminum pans. 2 cups here, 2 cups here, 2 cups here, 2 cups here, ....and so on. Then mix it in the container that will be used for freezing and heating. Any leftovers from the original mix gets incorporated in the 3 aluminum pans OR gets combined together for a small go to snack for anyone that night. Less pans used, less mixing in a big pot.

New Mexico native. When you make things like taco casserole think of CANNED HOMINY. It’s now my favorite substitute for corn chips, corn tortillas, etc. gives you that same flavor. Comes in 30 oz cans (I think) and number 10 cans. One 30 Oz can equals 1 dozen corn tortillas. Try it you’ll like it

I got some questions... So how does the sour cream come out after it's frozen because sometimes my sour cream freezes in the fridge and once it thaws, it turns out all chunky and gross lol. Also how do you keep the cheese from not sticking to the foil and how do you keep the foil from not sticking to the food when you freeze it because I just did some tamales last night that I had frozen and i noticed that some foil actual stuck so I had to make sure there wasn't any foil stuck on the rest.

I love watching your vblogs. Please tell Travis and your kids thanks for sharing you with us. I know your hubby is not a fan of being included visually in your wonderful work but would he please consider and consent to at least letting us see a close up hubby and wife picture we would love it so much. Also 1 pic of the kids from tallest to shortest with names and age would be such a sweet gift to us if possible. If you just can't I understand but I know a lot of us would be thrilled to just have the one glance. You have such a beautiful heart and family it just seems a shame to hide some of the members all of the time. Thank you for your consideration even if you decide to decline. Love you all. You inspire me so much and I am a 54 year old 100 l% disabled mom of three grown girls and 6 grandkids from ages 11 months to age 18 Because my hubby has to work so much to provide for us and I am too ill many days to cook these freezer meals are great for us to work on as a team to have healthy frugal easy make ahead meals to supplement the things I make in bulk already like 15 bean soup with veggies, and ham hocks and corn bread, hamburger stew with veggies and cornbread, enchiladas, spaghetti casserole, etc. my hubby even watches some of your cooking videos with me. He like the ideas you have for freezer meals so you help not just large families and homeschooling families but even older couples and people with disabilities. My hubby is a BIG fan of your blueberry bread too. He hobbled it all up as a breakfast on the go and as after work or before bed snacks. So that great to have on hand for him since I can't always cook daily. I love love love to cook but with congestive heart failure and a heart that works less than 35% of normal function it's awesome to spend my limited cooking time I can still manage to making lots of scrumptious make ahead freezer meals that I can make low sodium and otherwise the tweek to meet my dietary requirements. Thank you thank you thank you!! Love you and your beautiful family. 💟✝🙏🏼✝💟💜

I don't know how you manage to do all that cooking and planning I would be so stressed out and tired. And being pregnant, your a wonder woman! In our house, there's only my husband and I and we cook stuff together. We are older and we get tired easy. My hat goes off to you!

I am enjoying these vlogs! I don't have any little children (I have a 34 year old stepson though😊), but we are expecting my mother's Thanksgiving few week visit and she always keeps us busy every year. She LOVES getting out and going places. We usually leave the house in the morning and get back home early evening. These freezer meals will make the weeks go more smoothly. Even when she goes back to Missouri this will be nice to do since the meds I have to take makes me feel bad some days. We also have our nephew and his family of 6 plus his sister's family that comes down from Ohio every March😥 Thanks so much for doing these videos. I appreciate you!😍 Lots of love from Texas!

I never would have thought to make a huge batch of French toast to put in the freezer but I did it a wee ago with 2 loaves and 4 days later it was gone :) My kids ate it before school and even a little after school snack. Love love love this tip!! Next I'm going to do some freezer meals.

Chelsea I believe they toast it. Another channel dose this with the pancakes. Already cooked so just pop it in the toaster to heat through and add maple syrup

Jessica Eaton If it is thawed, all you have to do is pop it in the toaster, and it comes out crisp.? My kids will eat it just like that, no syrup.

I use to do this with the little freezer in the apartment. my kids are grown now and they still talk about it. hint I put vanilla in it to make them special. kids didn't know and wouldn't eat anyone else's.

I really enjoy your freezer cooking videos. I was happy to see you got the second griddle, it looks to be a total time saver. Now you just need a second huge stock pot, I KNOW you would easily use them both at the same time, even to just help stir the ingredients together.

I don't have a large family, but I remember how wonderful it felt making freezer meals for my mother and father in law when she had knee surgery and couldn't cook for some time. I really love your recipes and videos and I think I'm going to take some to make/adapt some of your freezer meals for me my hubby, and my two step daughters! ❤️

I love the freezer meals!!! You know, at the end when I saw your freezers full of all the meals I thought 2 things: 1. That's so awesome to have 2 months worth of food prepped ahead, and 2. It would be so aweful if there was a power outage and you lost all those freezer meals!! 😱 Good family team effort, love your videos!

I have slowly been adding in freezer meals, usually doubling a recipe while making some dinners so I can freeze one; my kids especially loved your brocoli/chicken/rice casserole recipe. I have 4 boys: 10 months old, and 8, 10, and 12 years old, and we are hoping to become pregnant again soon. When I'm nearing the end of my next pregnancy I will definitely be rewatching some of your freezer cooking videos and doing some of my own feeezer cooking days. I look up to and admire all you do with such grace. Thank you for continuing your videos even though you are a really busy momma!
