bass fly rig version 2, own one, love it. i'll expand it sometimes that affects send and return is nice, but generally I just run the unit into my amp by itself. its my always on pedal when going electric.

The added Channel switch option could also be really useful for switching between basses during set. From an active Spector to a passive P the drive response can vary a whole lot!

I bought one recently to be my one pedal to do it all and I like it very much. However after few weeks I have started to feel like the sansamp/overdrive section could benefit from a blend knob, so you could finetune how you have your overdrive in the signal just a bit more precisely and also sort of "balance" your overall tone with your compressed raw tone (if that makes sense). Anyways, great review again Rodney! You have made me a Tech21 fanboy :D

Kind of an interesting choice to have the fuzz sitting after the Sansamp section there. I would normally want that sitting in front of the preamp. Cool pedal though! If I was starting from scratch, I think it is hard to go wrong with this.

I wanted to ask you; if you could have only one pedal or one unit (like this fly rig) to use with your bass either at home, studio or live (any pedal - preamp/DI/effects etc) what brand & model would it be? Just curious & thanks.

That's a tough one, but i'd probably do the OG bass driver. It's really versatile and covers a number of situations and genres
