Dan John was talking on his podcast a few years back about Russian and Eastern Block County friends he had talk about Olympic Weightlifting. The Russians did: Squat Clean Squat Snatch Front Squat Jerks and Push Press. RDLs and Good Mornings Sometimes back squats That was it. They also would do 1 to 2 reps for 10 to 20 sets at 90 to 95% of their max, for each exercise. They would also train 2 and 3 times a day. Take a day off. Do it again.
Yep. There's a time and place for this so context is important. But, the point here is that most people train too perfectly and on the flip side, train like complete horse shyt. But, if dialed in, we sometimes need to go to war with ourselves and DO THE DAMN WORK.
Hey, I complained but I fuckin did it 😂. I was more worried about injury than work - yeah, I’m not a kid anymore 😂 Once I did the workout I understood it better💪. Appreciate you Zach! Just finished the encyclopedia book. I enjoyed it! Keep doing you!
