I bought a hardware wallet. Set up the pass phrases but never used it. Just too scary, and I think I read that there was a hack into that company's system not long ago. so I bought Grayscale (GBTC) late summer 2021. Went up for a month or two, then slid down and down. I lost 75% of my investment. This was due to the discount between BTC and GBTC. But I kept the faith, why lose the last 25% by selling? GBTC is now 25%+ over what I paid. GBTC recovered as the likelihood of the ETF increased, then it did. With the halving in April I'm hanging on. And SO glad I didn't own the actual bitcoin. The stories of people losing it all due to hacking or lost passwords is just plain scary.
For sure, a way to pool others money, gain interest, collect fees, take advantage of volatility while shutting the investor out. For the ease of entry they sure take a lot of rights away. It's a bitcoin bank game, like banks they don't actually have all that liquidity just a small portion and if they get their bluff called and people make a run on it... They will find themselfs the loser.
This is the crypto channel I was really hoping to find. No clickbait thumbnails. Everything broken down for the layman. Clear and concise, unbiased information. Thank you 😊
I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?
Question: If I invest in a Bitcoin ETF, am I able to receive that Bitcoin in the future, Or does that Bitcoin belong to the hedge fund, used by investors as a monetary gain only?
Hi @minionkevin6623, If you invest in a Bitcoin ETF, you don't actually own any Bitcoin. The ETF tracks Bitcoin's price, but it's like buying shares in a company that owns gold - you don't own the gold directly. ETFs offer regulated access to Bitcoin's price movements for investment purposes, but you can't redeem your shares for actual Bitcoin. Please note: This is not financial advice, please continue the DYOR process.
This video indicates that all BTC EFTs must own the BTCs. Is that actually true? I find conflicting information on this aspect of spot BTC ETFs. What is true?
I actually have BOTH BITCOIN and a BITCOIN ETF. The Bitcoin stored on Blockchain is my long term holdings The ETF is there for liquidity sort of like an emergency fund. If I need to take a flight sell some shares to cover the airplane fare or unexpected bill move the money into my debit card and pay the bill.
@@kingroyale7110 I like Bitcoin for my savings. I also need an emergency fund to kee me from selling BTC at a loss. To me it makes more sense in my emergency fund being in a Bitcoin ETF where it can grow is better than an account in merely fiat
Thanks for continuing updates I'd rather trade the stock market as it's more profitable. I make an average of $34,500 per week even though I barely trade myself...👍
Etf sucks ahah its probably good to add to the retirement thing , but one can also just plan his own retirement. Away from the goverment. I feel for the old folk here in NB canada, the average pention is around 800 bucks a month.
This is information that I personally think needs to go to a decision very quickly to get a better bang for your buck. If we choose to be slower. That will cause us to lose
Thank you. I’ve been trying to figure out how bitcoin works but still having trouble. However I’m familiar with ETF’s and never knew they also were for bitcoin.
I bought some IBIT ETF and I have a question about the management fee. Is it paid automatically from my holding? I've searched for this but haven't found any good explanation.
And the blackrock finally found a way to collect most of the bitcoins to them now. 😂 .. Like i learnt from somewhere, "a rich man may distribute the whole worlds money to each individuals of this earth ,but in a short matter of time all the money will come back to him" 😂

Nothing has better returns than Bitcoin in the last decade, if you invested a 1000 dollars in Bitcoin in 2010 you would have over 31+ million dollars. Nothing wrong with having both stocks and Bitcoin.
Hi @eitan71, Yes, Bitcoin ETFs are accessible globally. Examples of Bitcoin ETFs outside US - a) Purpose Bitcoin ETF (Canada) b) 3iQ CoinShares Bitcoin ETF (Canada) c) BTCetc - ETC Group Physical Bitcoin (Europe) I hope this helps!
They have turned into click bait garbage. Looking at their recent videos, some other guy is talking and basically pushing shit coins and scams. That's what this channel has become
