is it okay that my pair of venum shin guards have 2 rights instead of 1 left and 1 right, i've noticed that the 5'7 (green camo shinguards) guy in the video has the same issue ?!

Well it really depends on how you feel, I am the guy in green camo. But I have a distinguished left pair, and right pair. If you think this was a manufacture mistake you need to contact the seller for a return or exchange. Let me know if you have more questions

Just bought these ones and I absolutely love them! However, im new to MMA and this is the first time I use shinguards. How do you clean them and keep them nice after sparring? Just wipe them with a paper or towel and anti-bacterial spray?

I just use some kirkland wet wipes, also you could let them dry out facing the sun. In thailand, trainers often let equipment hang out as the natural heat and sun will disinfect and keep equipment from retaining moisture. just a suggestion. I would not leave them in direct sunlight however all day long

Heat can erode anything overtime. YMMV, for me in Cali doesn’t get burning hot, so it’s just a convenient to dry clothes or gear. Use your own discretion, you could also keep those silica gel packs you get sometimes with certain products or foods, put that in your gym bag or where you store your gear

Are there any differences between that shin guard with Karate Shin Guard?

Venum shin guard is thicker and has more protection. Karate shin guards are still good for “point contact” and offer better protection than no protection.

I realized after attaining my 4th Dan in Shotokan, that there is still so much left to learn and skills to acquire. Martial arts journey never stops, and I try to embody a beginners mindset in every discipline I step foot in.

Yea my straps behind the calves kind loop over, so there is plenty more room. And I actually have pretty thick calves for a skinny guy. (Filipino manny pacquiao vibe)

@@SENSEIJASON i orderered both. Xl are there but the straps are realy long. My calves are kinda small. The l ones are still on the way. I will send one back. I feel like l might be the better choice due to less slipping and a little less extreme straps ?

Yes the closer to perfect fit will be best, and the straps will break in over time.

What did you end up getting? I'm 186cm and i'm unsure about getting the L or XL. I read they run a bit larger than the sizechart

@@michielrommers1404Late response, but as a 188cm 63kg, I bought L, just for the lenght. My calves are slightly bigger then average so M is a lil to short, and XL is to width.
