I have been a Warriors fan for over 25 years. The era of Draymond, Steph, and Klay has been the best basketball I have ever seen in my life. It's a true family. Thus, I get Klay's emotions. He's been fighting for the last 2 years to get back and help his family. And, now, the comeback is near. It's overwhelming.

Exactly same, @BootsandUtes. I have been a warriors fan since 1996, the franchise’s worst years. Supported them through all those 20s win years. Followed every warriors player. But I have never seen a better person than Klay. More the reason why I despise that dumb play by Danny Green that triggered this whole thing. Danny hit him when he was in air!

These men have played some incredible basketball. 5 year run was excellent 3 NBA titles Game 7 a few plays away from 4th title . Klay got hurt in Game 6 Toronto Very close to a 5th title ! *** This team is still great & since Steph has put on muscle ; & Klay comes back strong ; These men can add 2-3 more NBA titles before they retire .👍 Anyone who really knows basketball Warriors have never gotten the credit for being one of the Top 3 or 4 teams Greatest of all times. Showtime Lakers , 86 Celtics, Shaq / Kobe - 2000 Lakers 3 peat & Golden State Basketball Royalty ! Golden State really have played the game the right way ; No thug basketball ; sophisticated first class Defense play hard ; makes the offense go ! I've watching basketball for 50 years !! Greatest athletes in the world . Draymond - Steph- Klay You be remembered as one of the best trio's of all time men . Much continued success gentlemen ..... 🏀🙋‍♂️👍

They really spoke so beautifully about a beautiful human being. Klay just trying to live and do what he loves to do with the people who loves working/playing alongside, being great, and winning in front of Oakland, the Bay and Dub Nation. He's a legend and this is the stuff of legend.

What I enjoy most is the amount of humility they all have and mutual respect for each other. No journey to full recovery is never easy but building the types of friendships that they have will last them beyond their professional lives.

Super teams are usually built through players with egos. And all of these guys view themselves as equally important as the next. And that’s what I think has allowed them to be so close to one another. Probably the greatest difference between how steph leads a team compared to KD and Lebron. Every person is important and has value. And they truly believe it.

I was getting extremely emotional while watching this video thinking how tough the situation around Klay was to him over the last two and a half years in rehab. Klay, I got your back and WE got your back! keep your chin up, you're almost there! will be supporting you even after you finish your career as a huge fan of you and a part of Dubnation. Peace out!

Klay Thompson is a first class gentleman in everyway. Klay & Steph are basketball royalty. Klay is the best pure shooter ; Catch & shoot ; quick release textbook form . Klay has remained very classy & humble ; Klay is one of the 25 greatest basketball players all time. Defense is amazing ; he & Draymond have never gotten enough credit for their shut down defense. Scottie Pippen would be proud of these gentlemen . Klay we are reallt appreciate you playing the game of basketball the old school right way. Can't wait to watch you take the court again. For lack of a better analysis or comparison the top 75 NBA is kind of like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions. You scratch your head wondering how such and such got in their while others more deserving get locked out. Not sure when the top 75 NBA was compiled or what the criteria was but Klay Thompson should have been on it.

Klay was just honoring the team Dr in his moment of silence, in his long Journey back to the NBA. The team Dr has been there for Klay for this long, now the rest of the Journey Klay must make on his own.

I think people should stop saying the Warriors are a great team and Klay hasn't even come back yet. (1) Klay returning is a victory in itself. He suffered a tough injury and chose to fight through recovery to rejoin his team. No one would or could have blamed him for calling it a day with three rings and millions. (2) Klay may not be the same player when he returns. We hope he's the same sharp shooter, but putting that pressure on him is unreasonable. (3) There's a concept called diminishing returns to scale. Adding Klay to an already stacked team is not guaranteed to make the team even better. Let's just enjoy him walking onto the court again and celebrate his journey back.

I have been a Warriors Fan since the Days of Brooklyn Queens Xaverian St John's Living Legend Chris Mullin - I have been praying for Klays injuries to heal however if the squad is vibing and elevating their play , clearly we have, with the best record in the NBA then you do not want to disrupt success . Klay never played defense like Draymond , Juan Toscano , Kevon Looney , Gary Payton 2 , and Steph Curry does KLAY has been getting paid LARGE amounts of money to try and recover - his game which is strictly catch and shoot when Steph Curry is being triple teamed . Yes Yes Yes we all feel for Klay but HOWEVER ANYONE ANYONE and ANYONE with a decent three point shot can play alongside Steph Curry and make phenomenal stats playing catch and shoot with no defensive and assists focus - Klay catches , shoots , didn't play much defense or produce stats other than for himself when he was uninjured - Noone Ever recovers from an Achilles and is never the same - if Klay was not a defensive threat Back THEN when he was supposedly uninjured then he will be putting way WAY more stress and work on and causing even more work for Steph Curry ,Draymond , JTA , GP2 Yung Gluv , Jordan Poole Kevon Looney , Otto Porter Jr , and anyone else on the floor so that he can score his 25 points a game The Warriors are clearly a Defensive Running Shot Blocking Fast Break Finesse and Physical Power House . Saying that the years that Klay was healthy is the best years of the Warriors is False because the Warriors have infinitely more potential with Steph and Draymond leading the current roster and James Wiseman , a 7 foot 19 year old Future LeBron James Level Super Star , set to return ( Steph Curry and Draymond if you notice focus on the others developement with Coach Kerr ) Klay I am a fan I pray for your injuries to heal , I have been praying for your injuries to heal ,I speak on having been through exponentially worse than you and my strong opinion is however if I was in the front office I would look for another 19 year old 7 footer to fit in into the Program instead of sacrificing the Success of the current program so that Klay Thompson can get back to a percentage of non relevant defensive basketball Klay Thomson look into coaching 💯

Looks to me like, klay is looking at the current roster and level of play in the team , and is comparing with himself. He knows coming back from two career ending injury, he is not the same athlete anymore and the team is doing great without him. He won’t be a crucial cog in the wheel the way he used to be . He knows he will slow down the defence and will become a liability specially given that coach Kerr and warriors put so much emphasis on defence . I feel for him but somewhere deep down he knows he has a mountain to climb and he will not get the same treatment like earlier. I hope he doesn’t go the boogie cousins way and becomes a part time bench player.

Klay's road to recovery is similar but very different to the retiring of MJ between Bulls championships. The next few "Seasons" of Warriors basketball could give "The Last Dance" a run for it's money. We get to watch this all play out NOW. LET'S GO WARRIORS!
