The buses look pretty comfortable but the engine placement is pretty strange as most buses now have engine at the back instead of near the front like these

They are pretty nice, even at nearly 18 years old soon. I think one reason for the side mounted engine in the front was that the drive axle could be in the middle of the bus, instead of in the rear. That makes the bus much easier to control in slippery conditions I think. 😄 Soon all of these will be gone though, which is sad...
