that is a lot of thermal paste. won’t hurt performance but you’d be just as happy with probably the same performance with half that amount of thermal paste.

Thanks for advice! After applying the paste, we lifted the cooler once more and it was spread all over the processor. I don't know, but more paste is probably better than less ;-). It probably doesn't matter if it doesn't increase performance.

@@ARmixle you’re 100% right but if you’re like me and mess around with different coolers and cpus all the time all it really does is make a mess and can be seen as a waste. whatever isn’t on the cpu is seen as waste

Some less demanding games are enough for me. I have no need to invest in an expensive computer when the price of a PC is going down immediately. I don't have time to sit and play with it 😉. I would like to see what kind of ass system you have.
