Kpop isn't a genre it's an industry. The early kpop groups were inspired by hip-hop, rnb, and pop. SM is a kpop company that specializes in rnb sounds in all their groups. Nowadays there's more kpop groups who have elements of trap, edm, afrobeats, reggaeton, rock, punk etc... Not every group really dances either but that was more common in the earlier days. Now almost everyone dances. I hope you react to the whole Killing Voice video because Big Mama is very talented. 3/4 of them work in colleges vocal/kpop departments. And one of them remained a solo artists for a long time. This video came out so they could come back together and release a group song
