It's great of you to produce a video for newcomers to the Firestick, brother. A great walkthrough on setting up a new Firestick, but a minor point was that when you were showing people how to enable Downloader to utilise [utilize] unknown sources, you indicated to turn that on, but newcomers MAY not know how to select the toggle between switching it on and off. 😉 Apart from that little snippet, an extremely fine introduction into using the Firestick, whichever version a person might have. ♥

@@CordCuttersLI ♥ I'm glad you didn't jump down my throat, brother. I was just thinking along the lines of what I was like when I first had a Firestick. I wanted ... or rather, needed ... everything explaining as though I was a very young person. 😉 I'm sure that many people would have been able to 'work it out' by pressing button after button, but in MY early days I'd have probably just shoved it in a drawer and forgotten about it ... until such time as I felt I'd 'give it another go'. Over here, in the UK, there used to be magazines available that you could buy that would 'talk you through' how to proceed. (I'm afraid I don't know if that's the case in The United States.) Keep on doing what you do, sir. MANY people, I'm sure, get great benefit from your education. 😉♥

Great video! I appreciate your sharing knowledge. We currently have Direct Tv and have found it's too expensive. The reason we use it is for my wife to have Korean channels. Is there anyway to stream Korean channels thru a firestick? We've been married 35 years so cutting direct tv and her Korean channels is not an option lol. Thanks again!!

Can you still use your cable remote all the time as usual and only use the fire stick as needed for a certain app like the Sunday ticket?? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️

Yes, you can still watch cable TV, if you must (ugh!). You'll just need to change the input on your television to the HDMI port that your Firestick is connected to in order to use it.

The fire stick thats in the video is not the 4k max 2nd gen... when i look at the Device type yours don't say (Frie TV Stick 4K max 2nd Gen) the 2nd Gen have 16_GB of storage the one you useing in the video only have 6_GB of storage that must be the one for like $49
