I used the basic oracle 651 vinyl with cricut to cut my image and used it for my sign I made for my husband~ Turned out BEAUTIFUL~ This paste lasts a LOOOOOOONG time~ A tiny bit goes a long long loooooooooong way~ lol a good note to those, this needs to be COMPLETELY dry~ I went 2 minutes, but some spots don't dry fully, so I gave it an additional 3-5 minutes in total before removing the vinyl and then burning~
Hey!! Thrilled you have had great success with Torch Paste!!! Thanks for the tip - letting it dry a little longer makes a big difference :). A little Torch Paste goes a long way, for sure!
I love this paste!! Such a great product. I made the stencil using oramask 813 but it was difficult to get the stencil to stick to my chopping board. I don’t why that happened but in the end it turned out beautiful 😍. Thank you so much.
Nooooo it can only be specially designed for cricuit stencils. Absolutely no, no, no, no, no. Also, you can only use this on blue cricit stencils. Your welcome
There are a few areas of my design that looks like it did not burn. The torch paste bubbles as it burns and has left a few un burned area. Can I apply a little more torch paste to these areas to help this issue? Has this happened to anyone before?
Hi Catherine! Very fine details can be burned into the surfaces, depending on the mesh in the stencil or the fine detail from vinyl. Hope this helps! 🔥
I have used the torch paste on 4 projects. It worked beautifully as far as burning the wood goes, but it left a sooty residue where it burned. You couldn't touch the blackened wood at all, it smeared every single time. I seen a tutorial that instructed you to clean the burned wood with vinegars, well that was a disaster. Really disappointed with the paste
